1.Only me who can go to a doctor band a hemorrhoids, come back home with bigger ones and recurring bleeding problem. 2.For some reason doctor rubber band hemorrhoids one at the time, so people with multiple ones choose wisely and be prepared to go through painful and unpleasant procedure multiple times.

He’s a great guy and his team was fantastic. Surgery went well no infections or anything. I didn’t really feel well after I was released when I got home. I felt better then what I did when I seen him in the er. Finally about a year later I had stool building up in the area in my intestine where I had surgery. Another surgeon stepped in since it was an emergency and connected me a different way then what khaitov did. I have a simple end to end connection they call it and not a stapled side by side like I had before. Now I feel great.

Dr. Khaitov has done numerous surgeries on me unfortunately due to a very bad case of Crohn’s Disease. I have recently relocated to South Carolina and I am heading back into NY ( Mount Sinai) for another surgery and I won’t let anyone but Dr Khaitov do my surgery

I went to visit Dr. Khaitov first week of January and had a colon resection first week of February. I was up and back to almost normal within 2 weeks. He is an amazing doctor. All the way from the nurses to the PA (Bari, who is wonderful) all the way up to him. The bedside manner they have is unbelieavable. They made me feel comfortable and confident the entire time. You can tell that they truly care about what they do and their patients. I would recommend him to my family or anyone that wants t

I found Dr. Khaitov to be arrogant to a fault. He was not helpful and I found his degree of unprofessionalism profound.

I first met Dr. Khaitov in 2013 after a surgery 5 months prior at another hospital. I only wish he could have done my 1st surgery. He is amazing as a surgeon & person. He really cares about your well being. His staff is wonderful. I was taken to the wrong hospital by ambulance in June 2016. He worked tirelessly for 3 days to get an ambulance from Mt. Sinai to pick me up & perform a surgery that saved my life. He called me & my family every day checking in. Not too many Dr's behave this way.

My ulcerative colitis was out of control and getting worse. When I needed emergency surgery Dr. Khaitov did an amazing job. He also did exceptional work for my two subsequent surgeries. Thanks to his incredible skill, I am today completely healthy and living a full life. Dr. Khaitov saved my life, and I could never thank him enough. Besides being a world class surgeon, he's a wonderful person, and he always took his time to explain what was happening and why. Highest possible recommendation.

Dr. Khaitov is the most respected colon & rectal surgeon @ Mount Sinai. As one of immeasurable technical skills and more importantly, moral decency, he is able to command a group of the finest physicians of his caliber in various fields who gladly collaborate with him and together conjure up flawless surgeries. I was in awe&disbelief at the fact that he spoke to my family in person 3 times on the day of surgeries & that he came see me everyday during my hospital stay. He's the very BEST for sure

I can't say anything about his professionalism, but the service is ... very bad. I waited 3 weeks for to get the appointment with this doctor, and today ( day before the appointment), his secretary told me that this doctor can't accept my insurance. I gave all the necessary information 3 weeks ago!!! And those idiots could not immediately check if my insurance works with a doctor? !!! I wait three terrible weeks, suffering from pain and discomfort..Disgusting! Awful service!!!

Doctor Khaitov is by far one of the most amazing doctors I've had at Mount Sinai. He preformed a surgery on me about three years ago. Not only was the surgery a success but he was kind, informative and calming which I don't think is something that you find in doctors very often. A few months ago I had a situation and he scheduled and preformed my surgery within two weeks. Anytime I've called for questions or concerns he gets back to me himself the same day. Great guy and a great doctor.

Dr. Khaitov was very clear upfront about the surgery and possible after effects. He took his time to explain any questions or concerns we had. He was confident in his abilities and gave us a sense of calm before and after.
