Overall I’ve had a very positive experience and have felt comfortable with my neurosurgeon Dr. Sani. I first met with him in Nov 2018 to learn about the possible epilepsy surgery my neurologist had suggested and the surgery was then held in Jan 2019. He is a great surgeon and I appreciate his communication skills. He also works well as a member of the Rush Neurology team, making sure they work together for my best opportunity.

Dr. Sani is an impeccable surgeon. He was precise and thorough, leaving a barely visibly scar. From the moment I met him, pre-op and speaking with him post-op, he was very amiable, kind and informative. He cares first and foremost for his patients. I highly recommend him as a surgeon. Roxanne, his NP, is excellent. Like Dr. Sani, she's laidback, to-the-point, very patient and helpful.

I came in for a DBS battery change. I was impressed how he took care of each patient himself. He made me very comfortable. During surgery he was very communicative and answered all my questions. Dr. Sani is an outstanding neurosurgeon who combines compassion, dedication, and expertise. Despite his youthful appearance he has a lot of experience. We would definitely refer him to anyone looking at DBS for treatment of Parkinson's Disease.

Dr. Sani is not a good doctor at all. I came in with my fiance who needed to see him based off of a referral from a Rush Copley ER visit. They referred him due to a fracture in his spine, which occurred during a seizure that he recently had. This doctor stereotyped him , and only offered a back brace to him. Dr. Sani refused to treat him for anything further without even looking at his discharge paperwork and his records of MRI & CT scan. I would never recommend this dr to anyone. Racist.

Dr Sani is an excellent surgeon. He has performed two surgeries on my neck over the last two years with excellent results. However since he relocated to the downtown Rush campus office, his office staff at this location lacks on many fronts. They do not order scripts for the CT's like they promise. This has resulted in wasting at least 2hrs in hold times with imaging after which they tell me the order was never written as promised by the downtown office staff.

Dr. Sani is not only a brilliant surgeon but his professional manner is outstanding. He was always available to answer questions and he has an incredible NP named Joshua Siebell who was knowledgeable and so very responsive. We have already recommended Dr. Sani to other possible patients.
