Had a LTNR in March. From day 1 had a bend of 120+, and straightened to 0. Pain management was awesome, exercises hurt but never more then 5 of 10. 5 months out now and did a trail walk of 3.4 miles. (Advil afterwards) also able to run fast enough to keep up with the 4 y/o granddaughter. I had not been able to run since 2005. I’m still aware of the knee most of the time, but it rarely hurts. All in all I’m thrilled with the results. Dr Toomey did TKR on my mum in 2015, was very successful aswell

My 48 year old husband had a full hip replacement on a Tuesday and was up and back at work by Monday. It was an amazing experience, not sure why he waited so long. Dr. Toomey & JT (PA) were both great, very professional, and answered all our questions before, during and after the procedure. He will definitely be back for any other joint replacements. Dr. Toomey is a top notch surgeon.

Dr Toomey did a remarkable job on my knee replacement and I am back to work after 4 weeks. He managed my pain which allowed to be breeze through physical therapy. He is highly qualified and his team educated me about the surgery and gave me a workbook so I could get all my questions answered. I wish I had done this 10 years ago and I am definitely returning to Dr. Toomey for my other knee. I am so very grateful to Dr. Toomey!!

Dr. Toomey did an excellent job with both my arthroscopic knee surgery and total knee replacement surgery. The Swedish Orthopedic Institute is an excellent facility for recovering from the surgery - they know what they're doing! From what I understand, they do thousands of surgeries each year, and you can tell. I had my first knee replacement done elsewhere, and this was a far, far better experience.
