The doctor's tech (not a PA) made me feel like I was a piece of machinery: very hurried and impersonal. Then it took over 40 minutes to see the doctor. He was thorough and gave me information about my condition I had never heard before . I can't get an appt. with him again for 6 months but will see his PA after some more tests. Can't say if I recommend him yet or not. So far, I'm not thrilled with the Heart Institute in general.

Dr. Mazer performed an ablation procedure for my a-fib, and continues to follow me as his patient. Beforehand, he took time to educate me about my condition, and took great care to ensure that I understood all of my options before proceeding with the ablation. He and his staff are very supportive, kind, helpful, and responsive. I highly recommend Dr. Mazer to you.
