I have seem him a few years back and didn't like his bed side manner. He was arrogant back then. I seen him for an RFA recently and he did his test shot and when he came to get me he acted very sure of himself i said something to him sbout it he said that he has done many of them. I had a good reaction so had the RFA done. He was less sure of himself acting. He did the procedure ad found that both times he realy did a good job on the way he got in there to get to the nerves that makes me happy because ive been to others and they did not get in there as well. So if you can get over his cockiness he does a good job

I found Dr. MacKenzie to be unconcerned. My 3 visits with him were each about 6 min. Have had low back pain over 10 yrs. Dr. MacKenzie told me that my MRI showed disc degeneration which anyone can have. He said NO bulging discs or pinched nerves. He said he saw no reason for my pain. I requested the radiologist report and it said I have 2 bulging discs and a pinched L5 nerve. It also said I have 1 in. cysts on each ovary and suggested a follow up ultrasound. Dr. MacKenzie told me none of this.

I went to see Dr. MacKenzie for my carpal tunnel test. I found him to be very professional and courteous. He took the necessary time to go over how the test worked, and what he would be doing. After the test was completed he went over the results with me.

I had radio frequency ablation on my lumbar spine. This ablation was done on my facet joint nerves. I was determined to be candidate for this procedure because I reacted well to a diagnostic injection. The ablations took place on 2 separate occasions. Dr MacKenzie was unprofessional. He spoke to his assistant nonstop about the hassles involved in building his new home. At the 2nd ablation there was a complication but the doctor was unsure what to do because he had not been paying attention!
