Education and Certification Dr. Strickler graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College and completed medical school at West Virginia University College of Medicine where he was vice president of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical school honor society. He completed his internship at Riverside Hospital and his residency in eye surgery at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Strickler is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Strickler has a special interest in Endocyclophotocoagulation (ECP) to treat glaucoma at the time of cataract surgery. Personal Pursuits Dr. Strickler is a native of Williamstown, WV. He and his wife have two sons. He enjoys physical fitness and flying airplanes. Dr. Stickler has volunteered his time and skills on surgical missions to Nicaragua. Everything was actually really great. Everyone has been super, super nice. I felt like the office staff accommodated my schedule for appointments. Everything was very well explained. I got the Symfony lenses in both eyes. I knew what to expect, but my vision is great after surgery. The surgery center staff was awesome!
