I’m sitting here writing this as I am going through a hip revision surgery in two days. Dr. Slagis did a botched jog on my hip three years ago. I finally got up the courage to have it repaired by a QUALIFIED orthopedic doctor. The thing that made me the most upset was the fact that he kept denieying anything was wrong. ??I feel good about the surgeon fixing my hip. This man has no integrity!

I had to leave at least one star-but this butcher really deserves a -10 (negative 10) or as low as it can go! If you're hateful enough to want to destroy someone's life-you might send them to doctors Slagis-I'm not. He REALLY should have his licence revoked!! I elected to have a "routine" hip replacement, "much easier than knees" he informed me. There was absolutely no excuse for his unbelievably SLOPPY body and life-destroying "mistake"! Then his DENIAL made a safe, timely revision impossible!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Slagis for over 16 years. He is an excellent physician who has always been right in his diagnosis of any on of our conditions. His judgment and expertise in his field is of the highest caliber. Also, he is a very kind doctor who always takes the time to listen and to do what he feels is the most practical thing to do.

After doing research on hip specialists in Tucson, I chose to schedule an appointment with Scott Slagis. I have a torn labrum and was looking for a means of controlling/ fixing my pain. He was very curt, very unsympathetic, did a very limited physical assessment, and literally told me I would have to "live with my pain". He was very negative about any physical therapy or surgical correction ideas I had and was obviously on a time crunch. I will not be recommending this provider to anyone I know.

Performed a knee surgery on me that wasn't needed. He never looked at the MRI. I was bruised not broken. When I called him on the botched job, he said, I only scoped you get over it. It took me months to get over it and relearn to walk.
