This doctor is extremely rude and did not improve my wrist pain with the surgery he performed.

Saw Dr. Schulze on 2/12/19, 6 days post fall after seeing my primary practice. X-rays were neg and an MRI scheduled. After a brief assessment he said I had tendonitis and to cancel my MRI. I was told to wear a brace and ice the wrist. I returned on 2/26. Although my wrist improved he wanted to perform a De Quervains’s release. I told him I would not consent to surgery w/o an MRI. He became very rude. I saw another hand specialist. She said no surgery. The MRI on Day 30 showed a fractured distal radius. I have gone to PT and am recovered. Go to Milford to see a real hand specialist who listens, does a complete assessment and explains everything. His diagnosis was incorrect. Verification of negative x-rays are frequently done in a couple of wks to verify the results. Alternatively, the MRI will show the fracture. DO NOT go to Schulze. He is incomplete in his assessment, an incompetent diagnostician, and very arrogant. I would have undergone needless surgery.

Not a good listener. Have issues with neck, arm, hand. Went to him mostly due to previous right wrist tendinitis which flared again. Sends me for EMG. 2nd visit- EMG didn’t pick up on previous EMG diagnosed right elbow nerve entrapment from another doc in different state. Writes a script for PT of my neck (which I had already from one of my other doc’s; which I had explained during both visits to his office). I ask him about my wrist and hand (original concern I went to him for) and he states “we’ll chalk that up to arthritis.” No X-ray or anything. Upon check out, I ask for copy of records from the two visits, knowing I would never be returning to this doc. They tell me $56. For less than two pages of notes!! (Already had EMG results in my possession). $28 a page. 2 seconds to print so virtually no labor involved. $.10 a page. You do the math. Needless to say, I passed on the fee and never looked back. Got an X-ray ordered from my PC of right wrist. NO arthritis at all.

Not sure how this physician is still practicing. He is cocky, he is arrogant and has a bedside manner of a rock. He thinks he’s one of the best surgeons well I’m still having problems and I got ignored. I keep on getting brushed off, I waited over an hour to see him and he only took one minute of his “precious time” to see me. His only answer to his patients when they’re having problems is to ice it. Will not recommend him to my worst enemy.

Really like Dr Schulze, did a great job for surgery on trigger finger. However, when I went in for 2 week follow up, I waited and hour and 15 minutes to see Dr, then nurse who took me back was NOT very friendly, almost rude, offered NO explanation, apology or reason for the long wait, then waited another 15 minutes to see Dr, who spent a total of 1-2 minutes with me, then waited another 10 minutes for someone else to come in and take 3 stitches out. Why didn't he? Guess my time is not important

While on vacation, my trigger finger stuck permanently and I was in a lot of pain. Hoping for an appointment to see Dr. Schulze, he refused to fit me into his schedule, his office citing, "it being a holiday week..." I explained that I had been under the care of a hand specialist at the Phila Hand Center and a scheduled surgery in 3 weeks. I begged for his help as I was in constant pain but they refused. What has happened to physicians who actually care about helping people? Not Dr. Schulze.

Dr Schulze corrected my Carpal tunnel syndrome to both wrists this past summer. My incisions were smaller than 1" in length and I was back to work in 2 weeks after my surgery. Great experience with all involved.
