I first met Dr. Resig 10 years ago by referral for needed total knee replacement, that my new knee is still doing great speaks volumes about his expertise! All follow up professional and caring. Since then he arthroscopically fixed a ruptured Baker’s Cyst (interesting, google it) and torn Meniscus on my other knee...doing great; and complex foot surgery, still on the mend but doing great. Dr. Resig and his entire staff 5 stars+!

Dr Resig and the staff at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Specialists are the BEST! I am 10 weeks post op from a shattered ankle and I mean shattered. Dr Resig put it back together again and I am making nice progress. I attribute my progress to his skill and competence. If you have a foot or ankle event, you won't go wrong seeing Dr Resig!

So far my experience has not been good. I saw him on 9/27, had to wait over an hour after my appointment time, was seen for 5 min and told that I will get a call from another physician's office within 48 hours to schedule a procedure. I have call twice to Dr Resig's office and left messages with his assistant Amanda and was never called back. I also called the Dr I was referred to and was never called back. This is now October 17 and I have not received a call back from either Drs.

My experience with Dr. Resig was truly amazing. He was extremely professional. On my first visit with him, he explained to me very clearly, that I had broken my foot and needed surgery. He spent time with me and answered all my questions and concerns. The surgery went very well and my foot is healing beautifully. I found the office staff to be very efficient and accommodating. I definitely would recommend Dr. Resig. Thank you Dr. Resig and office staff for a job well done.

Dr. Resig recently did total knee replacement surgery on me. He was outstanding. He made sure I understood what was happening and answered any questions I had in terms I could easily understand. After surgery, he and his staff provided outstanding assistance to me, specifically in pain management. He is an outstanding surgeon and person, in general. I would highly recommend him.

On December 23, 2017 I experienced a broken bone in my lower leg. I was referred to Advanced Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists. It was just a chance that I was scheduled with Dr. Resig. From the beginning, Dr. Resig communicated all details with me on level I could understand. Every appointment I had with Dr. Resig has been "on time." His explanations are clear. He listens well, and answers all questions clearly. I have no qualms about referring a patient to Dr. Resig.

Dr. Resig and his team at Advanced Ortho helped me with a pretty bad lower tib/fib fracture. I believe it was put back in place just right and I have excellent range of motion. Dr. Resig is a professional and I'd recommend him for ortho surgery.

He spends little to no time with you, and dismisses any concerns you may have. He does not care, at all, before or after. Years later I am still in pain and have issues due to his botched attempt at a simple procedure. Stay far away from Resig.

Dr. Resig came to my room at Sky Ridge Medical Center at 5:45 am, roughly ten hours after I had been admitted with a fractured hip. He explained that the surgical schedule for the day was heavy and that I would be the last surgery at 6:00 pm. Both times, he was cheerful and enthusiastic about the surgery's outcome, which he explained in detail. I went home the following day and have had 2 appointments since. He is thorough, dedicated, and exceptionally competent, a surgeon to recommend.

Had a fairly complicated fusing (at least in my mind) of 3 bones in my foot. Lead up to surgery, the surgery and recovery have been good. All questions have been answered as well as the prognosis going forward. Great office, surgeon and support staff.

Dr. Resig and his PA were very professional and informative about my foot condition and what options I had to alleviate the problem. My surgery was scheduled at the Hampden Surgery Center in Denver. Dr. Resig saw me before surgery and explained what procedures he was going to use. After the surgery he talked to my wife when I was in recovery. Dr. Resig and his PA were excellent in explaining things and I would recommend him to anyone thinking about foot surgery.

I went in for a review of x rays from a broken foot. It has been a week, I am walking without pain, and around my apartment without a boot at night. He said I had an extreme issue that can only be resolved with surgery. I asked for a second set of x rays to see if the damage was still showing up the same as the first x rays. He dismissed me and informed me surgery is the only option. Today after waiting 2 hours after my surgery time. I canceled and got a second opinion. Surgery not needed!

I went to Dr. Resig for a second opinion. I had MRI in hand and wanted his expertise. His MA and then his PA both asked for the MRI report and I said I really wanted the Dr. to look at the MRI and tell me what he sees. They said that they can get the report. Finally the Dr comes in. He doesn't do an exam nor does he look at the MRI while in the room with me. He recommends orthotics which I have already tried twice before. I'm sure my insurance will be charged for an exam.

Wasn't sure after reading reviews if I wanted to have Dr resig perform peroneal tendon surgery. However, decided to go with dr resig after consultation. He is slightly arrogant, but very informative and he did a great job with surgery, so can deal with arrogant. Vangie, Dr Resigs assistant is outstanding! She contacted me within 10 minutes of every call, email I sent her! She was kind and helpful. Loved her! I would certainly recommend Dr Resig. Only had to wait a long time for appt once so not

I've been a patient of Dr. Resig's for 2 years, he's replaced a couple joints and done minor surgery on my knee. He seems capable, smart and pleasant but he doesn't spend enough time with you to explain conditions, side effects or treatments. I have often left his office feeling as if my pain and condition was make believe. He doesn't seem concerned when the patient is suffering, it's always try p/t and come back in a month.
