He completed his ophthalmology residency at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina and completed his training with a retinal fellowship at William Beaumont Medical Center in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Pendergast has been recognized by Cleveland Magazine and by Best Doctors, Inc. as one of the top ophthalmologists in the nation. My brother has Macular Degeneration both eyes- sees Dr P yearly. Very thorough exam-after treatment vision stable 4 yrs. I am RN 36 yrs-dealing with 100's of doctors - I would highly recommend him-- top in his field. One negative which isn't that important--demeanor/affect very drab-- just wants...more
