Dr. Meyer has a quiet but caring demeanor. He was very positive, very effective, and very adamant at explaining what I had to do to help myself recover from knee replacement surgery. I took everything he said to heart and am doing great at two weeks out from surgery. I trust him completely and highly recommend him as a kind and skilled orthopedic surgeon.

I went in to see the PA-C and was pleasantly surprised to see Dr. Meyer. He was his usual serious and efficient self but did a very thorough and comprehensive evaluation and gave me some great options. He even told me a joke at the end of the visit.

Dr. Meyer was professional and friendly, he did a thorough examination of my knee. Explained my MRI and the options I could take in detail from shots and physical therapy to surgery including pre-op and post-op recovery. Dr. Meyer agreed with the choice I made, which is reassuring.

After falling on a basketball court I broke my humerus in four places and tore my rotator cuff. Dr. Meyer repaired the rotator cuff and did a partial shoulder replacement. Throughout the entire process, he was excellent and answered all of my questions. He is an excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him. A few people have remarked about him not being very personable. I found him to be the opposite...very friendly. I wouldn't be that concerned if he wasn't. Whats important is his skill as a surgeon and that's where he excels!

No direction whatsoever. Gave me options but they ranged from nothing (wait) to surgery. Not personable or comforting even though he knows he’s moving the range of motion into pain. Left not knowing any real medical advice.

Dr Meyer is not the most personable but seems to have done a wonderful job on my knee meniscusal surgery. I’m about 24 hours removed from my surgery and I’ve had take 2 of my painkillers. 2. I have also been elevating and icing it but that is with me doing the knee stretches as putting light pressure on it. He went in for the meniscus but found arthritis and damage behind my knee cap that he cleaned up as well. His nurses make up for his lack of bedside manner and so far I feel that he did a great job.

He did a surgical procedure about 5yrs ago on my left and now it’s my right shoulder. My left shoulder feels like brand new!!

I had arthroscopic and stem cell done on my knee. He was running late but I was told this up front. He was nice and personable answered all my questions. Staff was great as well. They called the next day to check up on me. I won’t know the results for several weeks.

Would make appointment to see Dr and it was always with PA who was very patronizing. Kept telling me shoulder was ok. Went to another Doctor and I had a piece of loose bone in my muscle.

Showed up over one hour LATE. Offered no apology for lateness nor explanation. Showed no empathy for situation AT ALL. Didn't help me off elevated exam table, knowing I was in a lot of pain. When I cried in frustration all he did was hand me a box of kleenex. No reassuring words offered. Very arrogant. Extremely poor bedside manner. Needs to be sent back to school to learn some people skills. Perhaps a good surgeon, but when face to face with an alert patient, leaves much to be desired.
