This content was provided by Dr. Meyer "Dr. Meyer is the Director of Neurospine for the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute. He is Acting Chairman and a member of the Spine Technology Committee at Atlantic Health System. He is the Secretary of the New Jersey Neurosurgical Society, and also a member of the Executive Board for the New Jersey Spine Society. Dr. Meyer is a member of the Spine Steering Committee at both Morristown Medical Center (MMC) and Overlook Medical Center (OMC) and he serves on the MMC Operating Room Cost Committee. Nationally Dr. Meyer is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) and the Joint Sections of Spine and Peripheral Nerve of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons/Congress of Neurological Surgeons (DSPN) where he serves as a member of its Scientific Program Committee. He is a member of the Washington Committee and is a member of the Coding and Reimbursement Committee for the AANS/CNS. Dr. Meyer has published on mini-open transforamenal lumbar interbody fusion for the treatment of spondylolisthesis, cervical arthroplasty, cervical laminoplasty, cervical degenerative disc disease, adult degenerative scoliosis and spinal metastatic disease in numerous journals. He has also published on the surgical management of brain tumors, spinal trauma and cervical surgical technique in several neurosurgical textbooks. He recently authored a chapter on the surgical management of cervical degenerative disc disease in the upcoming edition of Youmans Neurological Surgery, the definitive textbook of neurosurgery."

Extremely happy with the results of my surgery. Aside from the typical symptoms of a lumbar disc extrusion, I am now able to get out of bed or out of a chair and NOT need 10 minutes to be able to straighten up. The work that Dr. Meyer did was OUTSTANDING.
