This content was provided by Dr. Luallin "Dr. Luallin is the head of the medical team for Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer. He has been with the team since its inaugural season in 1996. His professional interests include sports medicine, total joint arthroplasty and general orthopaedic surgery. He also performs Carticel® (autologous cultured chondrocytes) implantation surgery of the knee. This treatment uses the patient's own cells to repair cartilage injuries in the knee. Dr. Luallin changed my life for the better. He replaced my hip a year and half ago, and he did an outstanding job. It's as thought the clock has been rolled back 15 years and I'm able to do things that I did back then. He's professional, has an upbeat attitude, and is always pleasant.
