Dr Scott Hacking is the kindest most knowledgeable doctor I have ever seen. When I originally went to him, I had been to another cardiologist who left me knowing as much about my condition as when I walked into his office. After seeing Dr Hacking I knew what was going on inside my heart and what to do about it. And, not once did he ever talk down to me or over my head. He truly cares about his patients, wants what is best for them and I would recommend him whole heartedly (no pun intended!).

He is on top of my care and has demonstrated that to me for the past 6 years. Dr. Hacking is approachable, he listens, he's friendly and explains my issues in an understandable manner. I look forward to every visit. I couldn't be more pleased with my treatment from Dr. Hacking.

I live in Colorado and traveled to Salt Lake City Utah to meet with Dr. Hacking. I am grateful that Dr. ;Hacking finally identified a heart valve condition that was resolved with open heart surgery. Prior to treatment with Dr. Hacking my Afib condition was a source of frustration and being treated primarily with medications. At 77 years of age, my post surgery physical functioning continues to improve.

I first met Dr. Hacking when a family member hospitalized with some heart problems. He was very reassuring making the patient confident that best practices were being used. His quick attention to diagnostics resulted in the right procedure being done and recovery was as expected. Dr. Hacking has been my cardiologist for many years. I have been impressed with his ability to answer my questions. I track my health conditions closely because I have several interactive health conditions. That includes online searches to get the best answers I can find and then discuss what I have found with Dr. Hacking. He almost always has an answer; it includes the relationships among factors. He then gives me the options with pros and cons and allows me to make the decision.

Dr. Hacking is an exceptional doctor. My situation a couple of months ago was very, very serious. I was admitted to St. Mark's Hospital the afternoon of an appointment with Dr. Hacking. He assessed the situation, planned and implemented medications that within a few days had brought to a much better state. He visited my hospital room several times a day--even in the evenings as he was preparing to return home. I am very grateful for Dr. Hacking and highly recommend him.
