Find someone who'll really assess you and care, and spend time with you! He does not, and will discharge you if you ask any questions! Very very sad. How did he get into this profession??

I have been seeing Dr Gichrist for about 9 months. He has been great to listen to me and address my concerns about medication. The office staff is friendly and respectful. My only complaint is that my phone calls are not answered and when I leave a message I rarely ever get a call back. I have never called with an emergency however so I do not know if those calls get answered in a timely manner. My calls are normally regarding scheduling.

Earlier this year I was seen by Dr. Gilchrist and felt that I was not listened to, was diagnosed almost immediately (the wrong diagnosis, by the way) without him having heard my entire history. On top of that he upped the dosage of the newly prescribed medicine three times in three weeks... and I had a severe adverse reaction to the medicine - extreme suicidal thoughts and uncontrollable anxiety. He was unavailable for help when I called the office. I never went back and I do not recommend him.

Have had two visits and i am very comfortable with him as far as him listening and doing his best to understand and help. Small changes in meds so we will see how things go in the near future. But have already recommend him to others

Patient Terminated treatment with Dr. Gilchrist after 5 months in a more serious mental health state then before she began treatment by Dr. Gilchrist.
