Dr Gabler became my doctor when I was hospitalized two years ago for a heart attack. He is kind, not in a hurry and took time to explain everything about what was going on and options for treatment. He is not only an excellent physician but a gentleman.

I saw Dr. Gabler yesterday as a returning patient. It never ceases to amaze me how much time he spends with me. He answers every question patiently and addresses each concern. He even contacts other doctors directly to review my needs and discuss treatment options. He is incredible! His staff is wonderful too! I am always treated with great respect from the moment I enter and through the entire visit. I highly recommend him, and have done so already.

Dr. Gabler saw my 88 year old mother as part of a routine visit, and while listening to her chest, he became concerned about her possibly having pneumonia. He personally called her pulmonologist to schedule an immediate appointment for her, and then called me (he himself, not a staff member) and left me a voice message about his concerns, and what he had done. Then, four hours later, he called me back again, and we spoke about her condition. It turned out she did have pneumonia, and this action possibly saved her life. Dr. Gabler went a huge extra mile for my mother, and all our family are grateful to him.

This review is for the front office, NOT the doctor. I was referred to call Dr Gabler by a family member who is VERY happy with him. I called to attempt to make an appointment on a particular day of the week but the front office was insisting I register first with all of my personal information. When I politely asked if they would please first see if that day of the week was available, the person immediately took attitude. After putting me on hold she came back with the first available date. When I politely said that I'm afraid that was longer than I hoped and that I needed to find someone to see sooner and that I appreciated her telling me, she person rudely hung up on me without a word said! The doctor might be a great cardiologist, however his front office needs to be professional and polite. As a business owner, I can tell you that you're only as good as your employees and how they treat the public and they ultimately are the ones to make the first empression.
