As of Tuesday, April 13, 2021, Dr. Farmer is absent from his practice, due to causes unknown. He never showed for my tele-medicine appointment 20 days ago, and phone calls are not being returned. If Dr. Farmer is alive, in good health, and able to practice, he needs to publicize this fact immediately.

I had a very comforting appointment and feel better afterwards. Definitely easy to talk to and he had inspiring words. I haven't ever had a doctor spend that much time going over my concerns. Yes a little behind schedule but good things are worth a wait sometimes, just plan accordingly. Giving people the time they need is hard to hold to a timer. Thank you Dr. Farmer.

Dr. Farmer was our adult son's psychiatrist for several years. On his very first visit, our son told us that Dr. Farmer had diagnosed his problem as PTSD, based on early childhood experiences. He had initially seen Dr. Farmer for help with drug dependency. From then on, our son reframed his entire life around this sense of victimization . Dr. Farmer prescribed Suboxone to help him off drugs but also added prescriptions - xanex, adderall and others, all of which distorted his personality and his hold on reality. He loved meeting with Dr. Farmer. His manner was excellent and kind, but no progress was ever made. Yes, wait times were ridiculously long, but other factors are much more important. Our son died of a drug overdose. We do not recommend Dr. Farmer for those who share our son's reasons for seeking help.

His staff are not good at their job. They don’t know how to schedule patients. I’ve called and asked for a call back from Dr. Farmer for over a year. I’m sure he never got the message because he is a very caring and intelligent man. It is impossible to get a hold of him. Dr. Farmer is an excellent psychologist,. It is too bad he doesn’t have a more professional and friendly staff.

I love Dr. Farmer. He is an excellent doctor who takes the time to listen to his patients and their needs; however, he schedules his patients in 15 minute increments - thus, what should be a 15 minute appointment then turns into an hour...and I have waited nearly FIVE hours before to see him. The office staff has gotten better, but if you are even 5 minutes late, you are charged a $50 fee...when they are late EVERY time.

Thank you Dr Farmer for treating me with like a person. In the past, I was the next patient in line to receive a hand full of prescriptions by a psychiatrists that didn't care enough to listen if the medications were helping me. Your staff is amazing as well. I've dealt with some not so friendly "gatekeepers" with the compassion of a rock.

Thank you Dr. Farmer for helping me with all of my many conditions. I know that further action is required and one day it will be possible. Until then, I will continue to take my medication as prescribed and not give up. Thank your staff for me, they are so sweet to me and know me when I call and when I walk in. Dr. farmer prescribed my adult daughter, who has a history of Biploar Disorder and heroin addiction Adderall and Xanax, in addition to Subutex. I am not sure the reason or science behind this combination but she's had overdosed, had seizures and is now also Xanax addicted. She also has uncontrolled manic episodes and depression in which she is unable to care for herself. For those with dual diagnosis, please think twice about seeing this doctor. The do no harm ethicis do not apply.
