I waited 35 minutes in the waiting room and finally got agitated and walked up to the counter to set down the clipboard I was to give to Mr. Eastin. As I was walking out, he happened to walk into the reception area and asked where I was going. I stated I do not have all day to wait, his reply was "you've been waiting all day?" No apology for over a 35 minute wait, just sarcasm. This was in 2017. I called today because I am in need of help, come to find out I am now tagged as a "do not reschedule" patient. I was speechless, a shrink turning away someone needing help. The receptionist did state it is routine for Mr. Eastin to run behind.....why is this acceptable!!!

I made much improvement in my life which was a goal of ours and he didn’t even commend me on my progress! This guy won’t even answer my questions I ask him. Would not recommend him to anyone.

I saw Dr. Eastin for one year until I had to move out of Iowa. I have had trouble finding a provider that is as great as Dr. Eastin was! I did have to wait past my appt time (10-15 min) sometimes, but to me that is worth it to because he is giving thorough, complete care to each of his patient; I never felt rushed. He always thought out of the box when things didn't go as planned for me with certain medications. Office staff was always helpful and prompt at returning medication question calls.

I've been a patient of Dr. Eastin for eight years. Great guy. Listens well, and has helped me through some pretty crazy (nothing else to call it) times. I would take some of the negative reviews with a grain of salt. No one is perfect, but this office is always very helpful.

I attempted to schedule an intake appointment with Dr. Easton six weeks ago and just got to my appointment today. I waited for 15 minutes past the scheduled time before he arrived to the front to see me in his office, where he then informed me that he would not take me as a patient because he currently treats my roommate’s father. My paperwork had been on file for six weeks at this point, and I did not receive a phone call informing me of this. I now have to schedule with another provider.

Dr Eastin is not interested in helping you if you are a more troublesome patient. That's what a psychiatrist is supposed to do! Has no understanding of Traumatic Brain Injuries.

I've seen Dr. Eastin for a little over two years, he's easy to talk to. Does not jump right to a prescription option. Talks holistically regarding ones life experiences and then he explained our options. It felt very colaborative.
