I had a total knee replacement on March 4. Dr. Dunitz is an expert in his surgical skills. He plans out the best surgical techniques needed for each case for an excellent outcome. Knee replacement recovery is not easy, I followed his recommendations and now my leg is strong and sturdy. I thank God him.

Felt like he was pushing me too hard, too fast on days 1 & 2. I had to get up and walk the same day as surgery! Insurance would only allow one overnight, and he didn’t fight them to give me more time. He probably knows them better than me though. By the time I was 2 weeks out I was feeling more confident. Now, 2 years out I love the guy! Not one single problem. I did push myself during those first weeks of painful physical therapy, and it is worth every bit of it! Try your very best, and do what he says - you’ll be fine.

It was a great visit. Dr Dunitz and his caring staff got me in the next office day when I experienced sudden pain at the site of a previous injury. Their care and follow up x rays gave me peace of mind. I had simply overdone it and taxed the area. I highly recommend Dr Dunitz and his staff, especially his PA, Jessica Ferguson

I have been going to Dr. Dunitz since 2008. He has replaced both of my knees and now he is investigating my hip problem. I would recommend him and the other Drs at TB&J to anyone needing orthopedic help. I have seen other docs in this practice and have been to urgent care. Dr. Dunitz and his staff are amazing. Very helpful and attentive and have never spoken down to me. Always treated me with kindness and respect.

He performed a partial knee replacement; I needed a revision total knee replacement within one year. Apparently he had mis-measured and/or the replacement was not properly aligned. My current Orthopedic surgeon also chided him for a recent switch by Dunitz and others for exclusively using products from Exactech, Inc., a company that has had a number of recalls, and according to some make a highly inferior product for this particular surgery. On top of all this, I ended up with a MRSA infection that caused a deal of bone loss. Here's a link to the handouts he has received between 2014 and 2019: openpaymentsdata.cms.gov/physician/14530 If I could do it all over again...

It was a pleasure to meet Dr Dunitz, I was referred to him by my Primary Care Physician!! With that being said, I’m in a great deal of pain in both my knees!! His physician assistant Jessica Ferguson, was my first point of contact while waiting to see Dr Dunitz!! She was extremely knowledgeable/informative and she asked a lot of questions concerning my knees!! She took a lot of notes, then she informed me they would be taking images of both my knees!! Dr Dunitz then stepped into the examination room and I felt very comfortable talking to him!! It was obvious he had read the notes, taken by his PA. He then explained what the X Rays revealed and he gave me two options! One to be conservative with the treatment of medications, physical therapy, etc.. Second to proceed with surgery so I’m on Dr Dunitz schedule, for joint replacement of my right knee!! I really appreciate how Dr Dunitz wasn’t in a hurry and took time to answer all my questions!!

Dr. Dunitz is a warm, caring doctor who is honest and professional to the highest standard. He informed me at my initial visit I needed wt loss surgery for the best outcome of knee replacement surgery. I did not want to hear this or go through an additional surgery. Thanks to Dr. Dunnitz knowledge and caring advise I decided to go through the Healthy lifestyles program he referred me to. BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE FOR MYSELF. So thankful for Dr. Dunitz insight and the caring way he handle the situation.
