After pushing off a hip replacement for years I researched Dr. Desman and knew he was the man to perform my surgery..He told me I would know when it was time ..not pushy..very understanding and easy going man.His staff is great. He performed the surgery on the 18th of Oct. and I was walking a few days after without any aide or pain pills... doing some strength training already..so happy its done,.now I can dance at my sons wedding! Thank you
We're so glad to hear about your positive experience with Dr. Desman. It's our pleasure to help you get back to doing what you love!
One of the best experiences i have ever encountered visiting a doctor. Not only i receive superb support from a very friendly staff and nurses but everyone went out of their way to ensure I was treated to the highest possible standards. It would have been easy to miss my diagnosis because blood levels were within normal levels. He had the results of the samples taken and called me personally to give me the results. His treatment was spot on, within 24 hours my knee was back to normal. Brilliant
We are so grateful for the positive feedback! We'll share your kind words with the team to let them know their work is appreciated. Thank you again for sharing.

Dr. Desman on 10/02/17 performed a Mako partial knee implant on my right knee. I walked out of the hospital the next morning without crutches or a cane and in fact went out to dinner that night! I had a full knee replacement up north 6 years ago on my left knee. and pain, sleep and time to recover was several months. As I write this it"s 2 weeks later and I walk 3 miles a day, drive and will start into chipping and putting golf tomorrow. Forget 5 stars I give Dr. Desman 10!
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're thrilled to hear about the success of your experience with Dr. Desman!

This is my second knee replacement & it went exceptionally well. I had little pain& my range of motion was over 115 degrees before leaving the hospital. Dr Desman & his staff did a excellent job. They were attentive & caring to my needs. Great experience!!!!
We appreciate the kind words about our team. Thank you for sharing!

Dr. Desman performed my hip replacement. I've always been very physical, and I was very concerned, and a little bit scared. When I went for my first visit, the level of professionalism of all of his staff, and the high level of his equipment brought in an extreme level of confidence. Going through the operation, and now in post op 3 weeks, I walk times better than I did before. I feel like a kid who broke his harm, it totally recovered, so now doesn't know which arm broke in the first place.
We appreciate the kind words about our team. It's our pleasure to help you get back to doing what you love.

Recently, I had a total hip replacement performed by Dr. Scott Desman. The experience from beginning to end was successful. He performed the surgery with a posterior approach. Two days after surgery, I was discharged from the hospital. The next day I walked two blocks with my walker. Within two weeks, I was ambulating with a cane and progressed to be independent. Within three weeks, I attended church in two inch heels without difficulty. Dr. Desman gave me my life back! He is excellent.

Dr Desman gave me a new knee. The surgery and hospital, pt, everything went great. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Demand and his staff. Actually it was a comfortable experience for a knee replacement surgery.
We're so glad to hear about your positive experience with Dr. Desman. Thank you for sharing!

I had a total right hip replacement by Dr. Scott Desman on October 10, 2017 at Martin Memorial South Hospital, Stuart, Florida. Everything went far better than I expected. Totally Pain Free and doing fantastic, even playing golf again... Also, the Hospital and Rehab care was excellent as well... Thank You Dr. Desman. Respectively, Bob Koterba

On the day of my appt the staff office left a message asking to do a health intake over the phone. I called back, no answer & a message. I called 3 more times & never reached a person. My wait time to see the nurse 35 minutes, 30 minutes for x-ray, & 10 mins with Dr. Horrible diagnosis. Also I requested to have my shoulder & knee looked at when I made the appt. The day of appt they stated they can only do 1 injury at a time & I had to make another appt. I guess its their way of make more money.

I have been thinking for about 3 years to have a knee surgery but I was afraid until I finally went to visit Dr Desman and decided to do a makoplasty (partial knee replacement) and I wish I could have done it before on both knees at the same time. The pain did not only go away but I was able to walk the next day with no problem. I only took pain medicine for one day and the recovery time was only 14 days with fully motion and pain free. I'm planning to do my other knee soon. I am so happy.

Had a total hip replacement in February 2016. Within 1 week was mobile enough on a walker to go out to dinner. Within 2 weeks, I was using just a cane and within 3 weeks I was walking without assistance, was back into a swimming pool, was exercising on a stationary bike, and I was driving before my 4 week anniversary. The office staff is efficient and caring. Between Dr Desman's office & hospital staff, all home care and PT were arranged. Sorry I waited so long to get this done.

Highly would recommend Dr. Desman to anyone who needed a knee replacement, I have never felt better.

My Makoplasty (medial knee) has exceeded my expectations. I was able to go home the same day. I was up and around after 3 days without walking assistance. I returned to work in 4 weeks, full duty. The pain was much less than I expected and I have incredible range of motion already. I know I have more improvement ahead, but if all progress stopped here - I would still be very happy.

I had Right Knee Makoplasty surgery in August 2015. The procedure and recovery went just as the Dr informed me that it would, and today I am virtually pain free in that knee. I am more than pleased with the results.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Desman to anyone dealing with sports related injuries. I am a distance runner and have recently had issues with my hip. He apathetically advised that I find a new hobby and take some ibuprofen. After seeing a PT in town and having an MRI, I found out that I have a cam impingement and labral tear (essentially, a bone abnormality and a tear in the cartilage between the femoral head and pelvic bone). VERY disappointed in Desman and his lack of knowledge in this matter.
