He's an excellent physician.
in Excelsior Springs, MO |
Went in for two tears and bone spur removal in August got staph infection in the knee two weeks after a steroid injection for the excess swelling in my knee so another surgery was done in October followed by 3 weeks of antibiotics thru an iv. Was told latter part of November that it would just take time for swelling to go down and returned to work limping so bad that ankle and hip now hurts. Have contacted 2 other doctors to get something done and no one will even see me. Never AGAIN!!!!!

I would not recommend Dr. George to anyone. Doesn't listen to your concerns, wanted me to stop PT even after I told him I still couldn't walk up and down stairs. Was told recovery time would be 2-3 weeks after removing hardware, going on 3 months and swelling still has not gone away. Wasn't supposed to do much PT- had to do 7 weeks because I couldn't bend my knee. Getting a 2nd opinion because according to him, "it will get better on its own." Stay away!

Would NEVER recommend Dr George to anyone, very uncaring inept dr! Had to search for a new dr for GOOD care
Liberty, MO |
Very poor communication...didn't seem to read my patient file. He comes off aloof, not personable, or informative. Long wait, then 4-5 minute visit with Dr. Wanted me to stay in brace for 6 weeks, but this was my return after wearing the brace for 6 weeks to see about possible surgery. I left with them offering to set up surgery, but my questions about what would be done, how long it would take to recover, etc were not answered. I felt like just another surgery. Getting second opinion.
Will never recommend this doctor to ANYONE. Average wait time is an hour and a half then he never apologizes, as if patients time is far less valuable than his! Bedside manner is cold and uncaring. I felt as though I was an inconvenience to his day. Still dealing with an injury three months later and looking for a second opinion. I could go on and on!

I went in there for hand pain. They took two of the same type x-rays. Irritated me the most is that the Dr. could'nt take two minutes to sit down and go over my x-rays with me and explain what was the exact problem was. I seen George maybe a total of 4 minutes, the rest was his nurse. I asked for medicine for pain, instead I was handed two wrist slings and take aspirin, So far I have taken too much aspirin, have the hives, itching, and the hand pain and a $200.00 bill! What was the use!
