I, along with my family, hold this man to the highest esteem. No one wants to be told they have a colon tumor that needs to be removed, but if you do, do not Stop, do not pass "Go," proceed directly to Dr. Pantankar without any hesitation. Besides being an absolutely gifted and amazing surgeon, he treated me with the utmost respect. He cared about me as a person and did not look at me as a patient. My overall well-being was important to him, and it came out in every interaction we shared.

Dr Patanker is a great and informative doctor. The only issue I have with him is that he consistently has to cancel and reschedule appointments. As a stay at home parent this creates issues when I have to work to find a sitter. And the appt isn't cancelled until last minute. He needs to do a better job of keeping his appointments. I would refer him but I would def inform the person of the frequent cancellations.

Fantastic surgeon easy to talk too. He listens and explains everything. I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer 5 years ago because of the surgery I am cancer free. The surgery saved my life. I would highly recommend Dr. Patankar??

Dr. Patankar is my personal miracle worker. He is personable, engaging, and brought a calm but clear focus to the issues being faced. He is amazing. I had full confidence in his abilities and had no issue placing my life in his skilled hands.

Knowledgeable, caring, gentle and above all a calming personality.

Excessively long wait times. After having surgery you really don' t want to have to sit and wait over an hour past your appointment time to have your post op appointment . The least they could do is call and let you know and have you come in later instead of the added pain of having to sit and wait to be seen. Also Dr Patanker failed to explain exactly how difficult a recovery from this surgery is. Also after waiting 50 minutes past my time he spent 5 minutes with me so why the long wait?
