Dr. Melmed's Care Philosophy
i view my main role as someone who listens to a patients' issues and then provides them with their options so that we can come to a joint decision about what might be the best approach. patient education is a key element in my practice; the more that the patient is educated about their issues the better we can discuss their treatment plan communication with the patient is given top priority and we do this at my practice through all available modes whether it be verbally (including on the telephone) or in written fashion (including via e-mail) sharing information w/loved-ones, when requested by the patient, is very much a part of what we do here. support from those around us is key in helping us get back to good health
