She served as founding Director of the Weill-Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital Laser Vision Correction Center. Dr. Belmont exemplifies traditions that make NYU Medical and Weill-Cornell rank as two of the most prestigious academic centers in the world; as a leader in the development and advancement of laser vision correction, in medical research, and physician training, and as a provider of superlative patient care."
