      NYC Laser Eye Surgeon Sandra Belmont, MD is dedicated to setting the highest standards in the diagnosis and treatment of vision problems involving the cornea to protect and restore sight. The Belmont Eye Center's greatest distinction is its expert training and the personal care that cornea, LASIK and PRK laser eye surgery patients receive in her practice. Dr Belmont is the Director of the Resident Refractive Surgical Education/Laser Vision Correction Program and Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at New York University School of Medicine. She served as founding Director of the Weill-Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital Laser Vision Correction Center. Dr. Belmont exemplifies traditions that make NYU Medical and Weill-Cornell rank as two of the most prestigious academic centers in the world; as a leader in the development and advancement of laser vision correction, in medical research, and physician training, and as a provider of superlative patient care.
