I was able to see Dr Khandhar within 2 days of requesting an appointment. He was so personable and put me at ease immediately. He has extensive experience and answered all my questions in laymen's terms. He reviewed my CT scan with me and discussed my options at length. I felt in I was good hand.

I have been Blessed to be a patient of Dr. Khandhar. He performed surgery for lung cancer on me 10 years ago and I am very grateful to be cancer free. I feel as though I am his favorite patient and I am sure his other patients feel the same way. He combines the very finest technical skills, remarkable compassion, and perfect communication.

Dr. Khandhar was one of two surgeons who treated me for a rare condition with some serious complications. His professionalism was of the highest grade. His obvious intellect, concern, care and accessibility were constant through procedures, a long hospital stay and a long recovery period, always making himself available. His entire team was exceptional and I would rate him at the top of the many doctors I have dealt with through the years. I highly recommend him and his team.

I got an appointment with Dr khandhar within 5 days in October 2016 after receiving my diagnosis of upper right lung small cell carcinoma. He spent a full hour with me and my wife explaining in detail my situation and what/how he was going to eliminate my cancer. He was so kind and reassuring that we left his office with no concerns about the success of my surgery. He fit me into his calendar and even moved me up two days to assure he would be available after the procedure in case needed. My upper right lobe was removed via VAT on a Monday and I was sent home the next afternoon. Dr Khandhar is a skilled, caring and delightful surgeon and I felt blessed to have been lucky enough to have found him. He has and will continue to save many lives.

I met Dr Khandhar at his office after being diagnosed with lung cancer. He explained everything in detail, including much information about the type of cancer and what I could expect after surgery. He spent much time with me and my family answering all of our questions. I couldn’t have been more comfortable going into surgery knowing exactly what to expect. Thanks to Dr Khandhar and Christy for making it so easy for me!

We were lucky to have had Dr. Khandar as our surgeon. Aided by a video presentation of our specific diagnosis, we were able to understand exactly what to expect and then Dr. Khandar spent time answering all our questions. He said he would be the gatekeeper for the procedure, gathering up the test results and other doctor's reports. He kept his word. We felt both comfortable and relieved after our first visit knowing that we had met the "right" surgeon. He was excellent!

There was little wait time at his office and his staff were friendly and accommodating. Dr. Khandhar thoroughly explained what was to be done and answered all questions. At the hospital he again went over what was going to happen to both myself and my wife. Following the procedure he spoke to my wife and later checked on me. Excellent experience!

Dr Khandhar did a VATS (Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) procedure on my wife in Spring 2017 to remove one lobe of a lung that contained a cardinoid tumor. This is the non-invasive type of procedure in which small holes are drilled thru which the surgeon inserts instruments which he manipulates into the correct area to preform his job. Since the patient is not cut open, the healing time is much faster. The surgery went very well despite her prior surgerys that complicated the procedure.

not very caring. He shrugs off all concerns that patients and/or their families have. Very poor in communication. Doesn't like people asking questions. Did not mention complications at all.

I recently met Dr. Sandeep Khandar for lung surgery. Doctor Khandar and his team/staff provided excellent service and were extremely polite and courteous. They explained everything in detail. All went well and the whole experience, although very scary, was easier with their assistance.

We can't say enough good things about Dr. Khandhar, he is absolutely wonderful! Not only is he brilliant but he made our son, who suffers from severe anxiety due to previous surgeries, feel 100% confident in his ability. He was responsive and kind and he turned a miserable situation into a positive one for our son. I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Khandhar, we recommend him to everyone.

I feel deep gratitude to Dr Khandhar for what he has done for me before surgery and during the surgery to remove my right middle lobe. He gave me confidence especially the night before the surgery I was very down and out of nowhere I got a call from him. After our conversation I slept with confidence. I feel thankful that he was my surgeon.

Dr Khandhar performed a lobectomy on me 5 years ago when I discovered a 1.5 cm malignant mass. His expertise, professionalism and genuinely caring attitude have garnered him much well-deserved accolades nationwide. I am so grateful to him for taking a very scary situation such as lung cancer and presenting it in such a positive way. You truly feel loved when you first meet him and his desire to help you beat cancer is so incredibly genuine. And he has mad surgical skills. Did I mention that?
