Covina, CA |
As others have said, an hour wait with no apology or explanation. Unacceptable.
Upland, CA |
Never even got into see Dr. Metyas . His office staff was so rude I decided to go elsewhere.
in San Dimas, CA |
HORRIBLE, the most inconsiderate Dr yet. My mother drove over and hour for her appointment, was in the waiting room for 1 hour before the staff told her "he was at a conference that day." How inconsiderate and unprofessional! Save your self some time and go to a Dr who cares for their sick patients. Beyond upset with how the staff treated her as well.
I am extremely sorry for your bad experience, I had a lecture in noon time the day of your Mom's appointment , as you may aware, I am assistant professor of rheumatology and teach our fellows , physicians and residents. In my way back , I stuck in traffic and you are aware of Los Angeles traffic especially in Holidays time . I came late, looking forward seeing your mom but she left the office. again, I am sorry for inconvenience and your Mom time.
Covina, CA |
I came in to check for joint problems and ended up being paneled for Lupus. My only symptoms at the time were joint paint and fatigue (very minor), but my follow up appointment was scheduled a month later. Forward 2 weeks, I'm experiencing inflammation everywhere on my legs and I can't even see him or my paneling results! He is the only one I can see but I don't even have the luxury of getting his help! He won't even see me until the scheduled appointment either!
He's very intelligent, but he over books his paitents. In turn your appointment will always run late about an hour. He takes lunchtime out during your scheduled appointment. I also overheard him telling a medication salesman that he would find someone to give the medication he was buying to.
in West Covina, CA |
He is very personable and seems to be as concern as the patient towards my problem. He explain all my options and what he can do. He told me what I need and what he can recommend. I find him to be honest and passionate about his profession. I will surely recommend him to my relatives and friends.

I always waited an hr. When I saw him the 2nd time he asked if I was a clinical trial?! He didn't listen to me when I told him I have a history of AI chronic pancreatitis and I need to go slow on meds. Well, he prescribed my high doses of meds, which in 3 days caused pancreatitis. I saw my GP & she stopped it,started on low dose meds.I made a F/U appt with the PA & said the dose was too high/started new meds. I saw her a month later & told her the fatigue is uncontrollable causing tachycardia.
