Dr. Shiley is the best doctor I've ever been treated by. I'm 57 and have been through three significant surgeries in my adult life, so I've seen more than my share of doctors! Dr. Shiley is friendly, patient, respectful, responsive, a good listener, and he's extremely knowledgeable. It's obvious that he enjoys his job and truly cares.
Rich, thank you for leaving this positive review. We are so glad that you have had a great experience with Dr. Shiley. Take care. - The Oregon Clinic

Septoplastyprocedure resulted in hypermobilty of my nose, divot in the center of my nose, split line running down the middle of the tip, drastic drooping appearance, when he assured me that the procedure would not drastically alter the nose's appearance . I went to see him a year later and he insisted it was " a skin issue", and to go see a dermatologist. My nose was essentially cut off my face on the inside, it is loose and wide and mobile. I am traumatized, and he blew me off. NIGHTMARE!
I am really sorry to hear about your experience. These issues are very unusual after septoplasty. This operation typically does not cause any structural weakening or external changes to the nose. But when it does, these issues can be resolved. Please schedule another appointment (no charge) to allow diagnosis and correction of these symptoms.

Dr Shiley and his team are very nice and knowledge. I'd gone to a couple other ENTS before Dr. Shiley and they were very friendly and knowledge.
Thank you, Colleen, for your positive review about Dr. Shiley. Best wishes - The Oregon Clinic

Dr. Shiley is nice enough but, his front desk staff is rude. The practice isn't anything special either.

I have seen Dr. Shiley a several times over the past few years and think he is an excellent physician. I have had recurring sinus infections for more than thirty years and had seen numerous doctors before being referred to Dr. Shiley. He identified a sinus blockage as the source of my ongoing medical problem. After a minor surgery to correct the problem I have not had any recurring sinus infections. He asked pertinent questions, listened well, and answered my questions very professionally.

I saw Dr. Shiley for two issues several years apart. The first was a matter of getting my ears unblocked by a major wax build-up. Then in 2015, I had surgery to open my blocked sinuses. In all of my dealings with Dr. Shiley and and office staff, I have found these professionals to be efficient, caring, and very competent. And since my sinus surgery, the infections that have plagued me for years are now rare occurrences and much milder (and less miserable).
Hi Christy, we're glad to hear you had a great experience. Thank you for your positive review! Best Wishes!
