Excellent doctor/surgeon. Had severe infection in intestines. Ended up having to have part of intestine removed as antibiotic transfusions wouldn't work. Due to CT Scan he ordered lung cancer was accidentally discovered. Dr Heiser called in 5 other doctors that night to see how they felt was best way to proceed.

Dr. Heiser and his friendly professional team installed a port for chemo. Alway informed by them, before & after surgery. He was compassionate as I wept about the consequences of chemo. Good guy, good surgeon-go to him.

I underwent surgery for breast cancer with Dr. Heiser recently. Both he and his staff were very professional, and also went the 'extra mile' to communicate treatment, coordinate care, and generally deal with patient emotional and insurance complexities. I also commend the professionalism and personal comfort level of general care at Riverview Health, which is equal to the larger systems of St. Vincent or Community Health, but at a more human scale.

Dr.Heiser will listen, take time with you, answer all your questions, he has a calming demeanor like no other doctor I have ever experienced. Doctor Heiser, performed my double mastectomy back in 2008. Just recently, I was back to see Dr Heiser with a diagnosis of Breast Cancer again. He took the ball and ran with it, he ordered every test out there to be sure where my cancer might be in other areas of the body, he was diligent in getting the results back asap..he goes the distance for you!

Dr Heiser and his staff is one of the best staffs I have had when it comes to medical issues. They are very caring, understanding and explain every step you will be going through with them. If they say they will call you about results, or just to check how you are doing, they will do it every time. Words can't express how happy I was with them all and their services.

I never imagined I would find a sincere, caring and professional doctor. I was, simply, speechless, after my first visit. It was really hard to see him as only a doctor. He listens. He is quite knowledgeable. He involved me in his care for me. Did I mention he cares?? I told my family, my co-workers about Dr. Heiser. His staff is pretty amazing, too. I recommend Dr. Heiser only if you want a doctor/surgeon who will, genuinely, care about you as a patient. His bedside manner is second to none.
