I was very pleased with everything from the time I made the appointment to the time I left. Looking forward to the next step in getting my issues identified and resolved.

Dr harmsen is a caring and skilled surgeon. He did my reverse shoulder replacement in 2016. It was a challenging surgery and he did a great job. I can use my shoulder like I haven't been able to in years, but more than that I had almost no pain within 6 months. I would not only recommend him, I would suggest looking no further. His patients are clearly very important to him.

It's been a year now since my rotator cuff surgery and I'm able to do things I have done in years! I have no pain or restrictions in my movement. At 55 I still participate in martial arts 3 days a week and golf almost everyday. Dr. Harmsen and his team were fantastic.
in Scottsdale, AZ |
Dr harmsen and his staff have been treating me for a bad shoulder for about 2 years. I wanted to try conservative approaches to treatment. Dr harmsen has been very honest and upfront throughout the whole process. My x-ray and MRI showed some damage. The surgery was performed about 13 days ago and I'm recuperating well. Dr harmsen found quite a bit of damage in my shoulder that the X-ray and MRI did not show and he repaired that stuff. His support staff is fantastic.

Dr. Harmsen took care of a rotator cuff injury for me. My recovery is progressing extremely well and I believe that is entirely due to Dr. Harmsens' skill. During visits with him and in planning the surgery Dr. Harmsen was very pleasant and professional, explained my options and the process completely, without talking down to me as another in his position might. I really don't have the ability to say how thoroughly pleased I am with his manner and his work.
in Gilbert, AZ |
I had adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder) of my left shoulder. I admit I was skeptical that my problem would be resolved with just cortisone shots and physical therapy. However, after three months of therapy and two cortisone shots, I regained my mobility. Dr. Harmsen was very thorough in explaining why he felt surgery should be the last option. He answered all my questions and I sincerely appreciated that.
in tempe, az |
The injection into my shoulder for pain was done efficiently and after a thorough examination. He spoke clearly of expected outcomes and probable effectiveness in my age group. He listened carefully and asked appropriate questions. Would recommend him to others without hesitation.

Dr Harmsen has an excellent bed side manner, very knowledgable and patient.I had a revisitation surgery on my right shoulder. Going in there were a lot of existing unknowns and several different things that could have negative results on the operation everything was explained patiently and thoroughly by Dr Harmsen. The operation was very successful even though a bone graph was necessary. My shoulder is good and I am very pleased with Dr Harmsen. Highly recommend him for any shoulder issues.
