Dr. Grodofsky has a very kind and gentle manner. I will be returning to him for further treatment. I would recommend him to others. He is very skilled as a pain management doctor. He really listens and seems genuinely intersted in your medical condition and wants to help.

I have had one appointment with Dr. Grodofsky, but have been advocating for myself in the medical area for MANY years. In an industry where most doctors do not care, and only look at you on the surface and whether they can make money from you or not, Dr. Grodofsky was a breath of fresh air. Kelly pulled ALL my medical history, and from my consultation it is VERY clear that Dr. Grodofsky actually reviewed it. He LISTENED. He acknowledged the issues I have with my pain, and all my sensitivities to medicines and gave sound advice, that was tailored to ME, not his own agenda. I'm looking forward to some relief. I don't expect miracles, but at least I know he will try!

I was a patient at this practice for a year and a half. I had an appointment with Dr. Grodofsky scheduled for today by teleconference. The scheduled time came and went without hearing from Dr Grodofsky. When I called the office to let them know I hadn't heard from the Doctor I was told I had been discharged from the practice after a contentious phone call with the Office Manager, Kelly. Philadelphia Smart Pain Management switched from their old drug testing Lab to a new one without telling their patients. When I got a surprise bill for an out of network charge I spoke to Kelly about it. Kelly got angry at me for paying the bill in a timely manner instead of letting it go to collection. After I told her I paid the bill she told me "that's it, I am discharging you as a patient." Today the staff at his office told me it was the decision of Dr. Grodofsky to discharge me. Imagine seeing a Doctor without incident for a year and a half and suddenly being discharged by the Office Manager.

Talented. Amazing hands. Conservative but is willing to perform procedures when it is appropriate. I went to four pain doctors before Dr Sam, and they all had their own agenda with me. Not Dr. Sam. He focuses on my needs a patient.

Excellent experience with this Doctor. He explained the severity and extent of my injuries with the grace and patience of a first grade teacher. I fully and better understood my situation, which although serious he assured me that he could help and did in a huge way! If he were still in my area I would not hesitate to let him treat me. I highly recommend this physician.

Amazing man! He's given me hope with my severe Type 1 RSD. He is forming a relationship with me as a patient. He is there for when I'm in a flare and can't go to an er, he can give me infusions there. Even though he is a little over an hour from me, he is well worth the drive. I now have a bit of hope for a life. Thank you Dr Grodofsky! He also spent a good amount of time with me, and talked about my treatment plan in thorough detail. Where every other doctor said I was too severe, he didn't!
