I've been Dr. Butman's patient for over two years now, and have been impressed not only with his qualifications, and the thoroughness of his consultations, but also with the clarity and the sensitivity of his interactions with me throughout that time. His explanations are thorough, yet he always takes pains to make them understandable even to a layman. I respect Dr. Butman, and I like him, but maybe more to the point, I trust him. That's the highest recommendation I can give.

I first started seeing Dr. Butman in 2007, when I was first diagnosed with heart and lung abnormalities (long ago, I smoked). Since then, I have seen him about once a year. He has always been sincerely interested in my health, and always very positive. Over the years, he has been happy to schedule a number of tests (stress tests, CT scans, PFTs), usually at my encouragement. As a result of both the office visits and the testing, I feel very well taken care of and very well monitored. Truthfully, I enjoy seeing him each year. Ditto for the staff.

Dr Butman is the best. He has always been available when needed to answer all our question, and because of his expertise I am alive and living a good life . I coded 3 times in march of 2019 and he was right their to place my first stent which kept me alive . Two weeks later he placed 4 more stents and due to my poor injection fraction had a surgeon place a cardiac defibrillator in me. I am doing well and it is because of his caring and knowledgeable treatment. Also love his sense of humor and honesty. Highly recommend him

D. Butman has been treating my wife and I for the past four years. Prior to Dr. Butman I had been treated by two other Cardiologists when I was residing in California. I now feel much better about my care and health than I ever have. Dr. Butman is a kind, considerate, and intelligent doctor. We love his bed side manor which makes it easy for us to talk to him. Some folks might not like his sense of humor and jovial personality but we love him for it.

On Jan. 1st 2015 I had a heart attack and the paramedics took me to the Heart & Vascular Center in Cottonwood, Arizona. At this time Dr. Butman put a stint (2?) in me. By his expertise and great sense of humor, I actually enjoyed the event. I know that that's hard to believe, but he has a way of relaxing you. Of course, at the time, I didn't quite realize the severity of my situation. But it seems that the paramedics, hospital staff and Dr. Butman all saved my life that night. Very impressive.

Dr. Butman saved my life and I am very grateful to him. He was able to diagnose and get the right medication in the hospital to keep me alive long enough to get me to surgery. He called up to Flagstaff to get a specialist opinion when I was in crisis and nothing was working. This is a great doctor that you want on your side when you need surgery.

I've been seeing Dr. Butman ever since he put five stents in my heart after I collapsed from a heart attack in 2012. The results were excellent, and I appreciate his positive and upbeat attitude. I've had no trouble making follow-up appointments, and he even returns calls. And it doesn't hurt that he's affiliated with a group of other outstanding cardiologists.

I know Dr. Butman as THE cardiologist who attended my wife through a mitral valve repair and later full valve replacement. Though Dr. Butman was not the surgeon in either procedure, he was instrumental in securing the best available talent to assure success of both events. She also suffered from ovarian cancer, and he supported her oncology treatment. After her demise, he sought me out and supported me through my grief. I now see him as my cardiologist. He is my "go to" Dr. - RECOMMENDED!

I was totally dissatisfied with him. Everything was a joke to him and I did find him funny at all. He spent maybe 3 min. with me. He did not read my chart as to see why my private care provider referred me. I also had prior testing done and he did not even look at it. I had to ask him what his impression was of the results. He glanced at the results and said it was fine, then he ordered another diagnostic test and left. I learned nothing from this appmt. It was a total waste of time and money
