Dr Aboumatar is absolutely the best. He is kind, considerate and truly cares about serving the whole patient, and sometime even the mom thats having a hard time:) My daughter has had epilepsy since she was 5, shes 24 now and started seeing Dr A after she turned 18. She has struggles with depression, anger issues etc....he has always listened and never judged. I highly recommend him.

I developed Epilepsy about a year ago, and I was so scared and not doing well on the medications they had me on. Dr. Aboumatar may be really knowledgeable, but he is not terribly friendly or comforting.

Less than 5 stars is wrong. He walked me through a fight with Epilepsy, that was won. Approached him after two specialists fell short. Brain operation took care of all problems, just lucky I passed all exams to allow the surgery. He shares all answers to your problems...like or not. Glad I approached him and will never stopped thanking him.

Dr. Aboumatar is a kind, caring, and compassionate doctor. He truly listens to his patients' concerns and is able to explain his findings and treatment plan in a manner that is comprehensible and also reassuring. Although I'm certain he is extremely busy, he never seems rushed, whether he is making rounds in the hospital or seeing someone in his office. His staff are courteous, helpful, and efficient in their respective roles and I am always treated with respect both on the phone and in person.
