Avoid at all costs!! Should he and his Amita Health group suddenly get ready to lose your quality of life. He is a “shot pusher” facet injections, Lumbar injection even ablation that’s all he’s interested in, doesn’t even want imaging. He’s awful, late, rude, can’t answer questions and has no ability to support his horrible pat-answers. When his horrible, negligent plans don’t work he uses the ultimate out “ it’s your fault, not his”. He does not practice Integrative Pain Medicine he’s strictly about the high dollar procedures. Make sure you run and issue the well deserved Complaint to the Illinois Medical Licensing board. It’s not hard starts with a phone call .

Worst experience imaginable. After waiting 56 minutes, he preformed an "exam" that took exactly 35 seconds (pushed on my backonce and lifted Both my legs--Twice) he discontinued an multi-year treatment plan that has been proven successful for the last 11 years because of his "preference". Although he referenced several times during the 6 min we spent together that "we did'nt know each other ", he still changed an entire treatment plan and life with no regard for the previous physicians orders or notes. Physicians are to due what's the best for each individual patient, not what they prefer. Doctor took over an established practice inside Ressurecction hospital, the patients were not given notice nor choice. This is no longer an Integrative Pain Practice, it's a shot/ablation mill looking to bulk insurances for as much as possible with no clear vision for "what comes next" for the patients. But, Hey they have their Psychologist they'll be happy to have you pay..out of pocket. He's awful

Dr Shah was very adamant about treating my pain. He went through several procedures to determine what was best and followed up a few weeks after to see the treatments results. He is a very knowledgeable doctor in his field and I can say I feel very confident in him and his staff to treat my pain. My quality of life has immensely improved after diagnosis and treatments. Dr Shah and his staff are very professional and took care of me throughout every procedure. Thank you Dr. Shah and staff.

He's a nice man, and clearly know what he's doing. He's helped me manage my pain well, and appointments are convenient. However, it's often frustrating how poorly he communicates things. He doesn't really explain what anything means, or how anything works. It may be he assumes the patient already knows, or he assumes the patient doesn't ant to know too much, but if you're the sort of person who wants the details, this is not the guy for you. Billing through Swedish is also a little wonky.

I suffered with severe lower back pain for a couple of years until I was referred to Dr Shah. He took the time to ensure I received the proper treatment. After going through his treatment plan I can honestly say that it was very effective, my back pain is limited to none at all, I can finally get a nights rest without pain disturbing me. My husband was treated as well by Dr Shah and he feels wonderful, thank you Dr Shah.

I have Dr. Shaw treat me at Swedish Covenant for hip and leg pain. I had a series of shots over about two months. The last was to deaden the pain going down my leg from my hip. I could barely walk or climb stairs without a lot of pain before starting this treatment with Dr. Shaw. Now I am about 95% pain free. I would recommend my friends having severe back, hip or leg pain to discuss their options with Dr. Shaw.
