The time it takes to get to the doctor is ridiculous. While I understand getting "hung up" at the hospital but you sit there and wait for your appt. and then it's cancelled! This is not how one expects to be treated. When you finally get to the see Dr. Azhar he's very nice but certainly not worth the 1 hour+ wait - he's an average neurologist. Wait and wait and wait for average treatment at best - nothing special in his approach to stroke or Alzheimer's treatment.

Where do i begin, i suffered a stroke dating back to October of 2002 while living in Staten Island NY. Afterwards my affected arm (right) was literally fisted up into a ball up to my chest. Thankfully, he was speaking at Lutheran Med center in brooklyn about something called a baclofen pump. After hearing him talk about it, i walked limped rather and said to him, lets do it. Bottom line, i had it done and thankfully, although not much use from the arm at least it's down and no fisted.
