Zero follow up from this Doctor - Stay Away
Unfortunately, this Doctor cares very little about her patients, and there are zero follow-ups from her and her staff. I have to consistently chase this Doctor down on getting things done that she said she would do during my office visit. Terrible!!

Long waiting times and very poor follow up
I went of my appointment and the Doctor was over ONE hour late to the appointment. After the consultation she wrote two prescriptions. I went to pick them up from the pharmacy and was told the doctor did not fill in all the information correctly. Another inconvenience and a waste of my time. If you value your time and quality of service don’t go to this doctor.

Waiting time for the Doctor is absurdly long
- Wait times for the Doctor is ridiculously long, despite having an appointment. - Then once seen, the visits feel rushed and recommendations are confusing and sometimes contradictory. - Follow up on referrals or test results take repeated calls - No follow up even after an ER visit

Staff lives in Black or White, example. I need a script renewed, Dr Jamal will need to see you and run labs first. I was in there 6 months ago. No Visit, No Script. Not the only time they have held a script hostage so they can book appointments. So many other options they could choose, say 1 month renewal but you need to get in during that month.

I have mixed feelings about Dr. Jamal. She is sweet, and during the appointment it feels like she is genuinely concerned for your health and well being....but on the other hand, she disconnects with you on a personal level. I’ve had several visits where she looks clueless towards your past appointments and face to face meetings. She cares in the moment, but she doesn’t appear to care in the long run. Dr. Jamal is also quick to blame the majority of your mental health issues based off diet, exercise, and technology usage. As for her staff, I think they are all wonderful. The receptionist is southerly polite, calls me sweet nicknames, and makes me feel safe. The phlebotomist is also very kind, and she makes me feel comfortable and relaxed while taking blood.

Dr. Jamal is both my personal doctor as well as my elderly mother's doctor. Over the years, we both have found her to be knowledgeable, kind and caring. She goes the "extra mile" in the care she provides for her patients. She takes her time to listen and does not rush us in and out of the exam room. From my perspective, this is not just a job or vocation for her but it is her passion to care for others. We totally trust her and can confidently recommend her.

Doctor Jamal is great but her staff is hateful and they treat you like you are stupid. It infuriates me to be treated like this when all we are asking for is good healthcare. The nurse hung up on me twice and talked down to me. They do not try to facilitate any records that they may need. Doctor needs to stop this

Extremely thorough! After unfavorable blood test results SHE personally called me on a weekend 3x, 1 after the other, before I answered (didn't recognize #). She was panicky that I follow her instructions. Personally, she cares deeply for my health. I may wait a long time to see her but it's worth it. She promptly answers messages sent through the website. I get answering machine when I call sometimes but after a short wait, I get through. For me, she is the best!
