Dr. Shaffer is an excellent diagnostician. She always listens to me, and seems to always get it right. I have numerous medical conditions, and she is able to keep them all under control. She is very caring.

I originally thought she was a caring concerned Dr. But time after time my prescriptions were bungled, wrong prescriptions, sent to wrong pharmacies, staff not answering phones, and complaints about snotty office staff or staff not returning calls etc, I complained multiple times- her answer was to ask me to leave via letter how cowardly. So I left. If you have simple, non prescriptive needs she will work but be forewarned- more than one pharmacy more than 2 medicines, be scared- I could have been seriously harmed by their mistakes, so be your own judge.

Dr Shaffer takes time to listen and interacts with you. Very caring. Follows through with her patients. I would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for a Dr.

Dr Shaffer is an unusual doctor in that she spends time and expresses genuine care for her patients. I totally recommend her personally, as a physician. I am less enthusiastic about the UCHealth office staff. Messages are not delivered promptly and prescriptions are sometimes not transmitted with full information.
