Dr.Takenaga done a extremely torn rotor cuff on my right shoulder. He done a wonderful job. You can hardly tell where he made any cuts to get into my shoulder. As far as pain. It was very limited and very little. He will answer any questions you have about everything before and after the surgery. I couldnt have asked for a better Dr. To do my surgery. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr.Takenaga for a wonderful job you did.

I had a great experience with Dr. Takenaga. I am also a health care professional and have seen all types - Dr. Takenaga was great. He had clearly read the background information and diagnostic images provided by my referring physician. He explained the physical exam and his findings thoroughly. He recommended a nonsurgical intervention which has been very effective. He emphasized his availability should I need further treatment. He was very amiable as well and made me feel very much at ease - even as he approached me with a syringe. I would recommend him without reservation and would definitely see him again for any orthopedic problems. The practice/office staff were great too - easy check-in and minimal wait time.

I went to Dr. Takenaga for carpel tunnel surgery. He listened to me even though he had probably heard the same thing hundreds of times. He provided excellent care throughout the entire surgery and post-op. The Emerge staff at the office and the surgical clinic are excellent. I would recommend Dr. Takenaga to anyone for excellent care.

I am a retired Respiratory Therapist, and believe I have a background that qualifies me to review a doctor with a significant degree of professional and personal perspective. Dr. Takenaga evaluated my shoulder injury and recommended a surgical repair of a large rotator cuff tear. I found him to be very courteous, thorough, attentive, and forthcoming. I am now six months post op, and believe that I can say that his surgical skill skill is top notch. I have had zero complications, and my progress has been smooth. His entire organization is very efficient, and the staff have been uniformly courteous and professional. I can comfortably recommend Dr. Takenaga wholeheartedly for any orthopedic issues.
