I wanted to thank Dr Caufield and Larry for performing and coordinating my knee replacement. The experience and outcome to-date has been extraordinary. Additionally, please share with the lead and assistant anesthesiologist that they did an amazing job, the method they used was flawless and I couldn't have been more comfortable. Lastly, please thank the post-op care nurse, I think it was Justin(?), for showing great empathy to somebody who he knew probably wouldn't have remembered. But he w

Dr. Caufield did a fantastic knee replacement on me. After 90 days I'm back being active again, and now look forward to my retirement years of golfing and fly fishing. He has a very laid back and calm demeanor about him, and is very informative at anytime in the process. His staff at Rose medical are the best. They can solve any insurance problem and paperwork. Kudos. George T

I don't normally bother to leave reviews. However, I feel compelled to sing the praises of Dr. Caufield. Having heard many post surgery horror stories I am happy to report being totally pain free after a fairly easy recovery period. I initially had knee replacement surgery and then found it necessary, 60 days later, to have a hip replacement. I was so pleased with my first surgery that I did not consider anyone but Dr. Caufield for my second surgery. Thank you Dr. Caufield.

I had some trepidation about hip surgery. After meeting dr Caufield I felt so comfortable. Explained everything clearly and was so supportive. Never rushed and has a good sense of humor. Surgery went great, healed better than expected. He is really special not like great surgeons who have lousy bedside manner! He has it all and I will recommend him very highly. Rose staff great from check in to check out. Great place

I was facing the end of my career as a firefighter due to the bad condition of both my knees. The pain and lack of agility in my knees was beginning to put myself and my crew at risk and I knew I had to seek help. Dr. Caufield listened, took into consideration my concerns, my medical needs, my unique situation and thoroughly explained my options. We decided knee replacements were necessary. Thanks to his expertise and care, I am back to work and my active lifestyle. I can’t thank him enough.

I knew it was time. I had visited a surgeon earlier in 2017 and was extremely offended by his treatment. All that mattered to me was to get a competent surgeon that was kind, helpful and a good communicator. That's it. HOLY COW, I hit the jackpot with Dr. Caufield. Not only is he waaaaay more than competent, but he has the skills required of a good surgeon that is not measured by his ability in the OR; empathy, a good listener and a kind communicator. TOP DOC!!

Dr Caufield gave my life back. Six months ago I could hardly walk due to severe osteoarthritis in both hips. Now I am cycling, hiking and training to ski again after years of increasing pain and inflexibility. Dr Caufield, his staff and Rose Ortho are exceedingly professional, caring and committed to achieve optimum results for patients. Each patient is unique, but I was able to go home early the next day after each THR, and immediately start PT and recovery. He made it easy to live life again.

Dr. Ryan Caufield did an AMAZING job on my TKR. I am very impressed by the entire staff and professionalism. I was told 10 years ago that I needed a TKR, and I wish I had done it at that time. I am very happy with my new knee, and I couldn't have found a better doctor in Dr. Caufield. I'm at the 7 week mark since my TKR and my life has completely changed. I am walking PAIN FREE now!

Dr. Caufield far exceeded my expectations. Facing a total knee replacement was frightening, but Dr. Caufield and his team ensured I was fully prepared with comprehensive patient education, including an informative pre-surgery class. I went into the procedure with clear, realistic expectations and I'm very pleased with the results - 3 months out from surgery and I can do stairs and ride a bike again! Thank you Dr. Caufield for your expert & compassionate care!

I broke my tibial plateau last April. Not a good break to say the least. I was fortune enough to end up as a patient of Dr. Caufield. He was great. He explained my options, surgery or not and what the pros and cons of each alternative was. Clearly I needed surgery. The surgery went very well. I had a steel plate and 7 screws inserted into my leg / lower knee joint. The follow up care was exceptional. Dr. Caufield really cares about me and my recovery. He answers all my questions.

He was an excellent surgeon, he replaced both my knees and they are working fantastically. He was very encouraging, very professional and all the staff there were so kind even at the hospital and the nurses I just thought it was excellent care.

I loved Dr. Caufield and his med tech Larry. I would highly recommend this Dr, and this group. I was treated respectfully, always punctual when I had an office visit. They gave me all the information I needed and returned my calls within a short period when I had a question. My internal medicine Dr. was very pleased when I told her who I had as a Dr and what orthopedic group he was in. It turned my accident into less of an ordeal knowing I had good medical care.
