This content was provided by Dr. Barrett "Dr. Barrett sub-specializes in surgical neuro-oncology. like the use of stereotactic radiosurgery, minimally invasive brain tumor removal and laser-assisted tumor removal. Dr. Barrett graduated from the Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001, after which he completed an Osteopathic Neurosurgical residency at Michigan State University-Providence Hospital and Medical Centers in 2007. Thereafter, he completed a subspecialty fellowship in Neuro-Oncology at the University of South Florida-Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in 2008. Dr. Barrett was board certified in Neurosurgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery in 2008. Dr. Barrett became the Program Director for the Osteopathic Neurosurgery residency in Providence Hospital and Medical Centers in 2011 and the Associate Program Director of the ACGME-accredited neurosurgery residency in 2016. Dr. Barrett became a clinical assistant professor for the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties, Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011, a clinical assistant professor for the Department of Neurological surgery, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in 2012, and a clinical assistant professor for the College of Human Medicine, Michigan State University in 2016. He also became the Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons in 2012. From 2014 to the present year, Dr. Barrett was elected one of the top doctors in Detroit by the Detroit Hour magazine. Dr. Barrett joined the practice in 2008."

I had an ACDF done by Dr. Barrett. the surgery was a success. didnt even have to take any pain killers after the surgery. very professional, excellent way of dealing with patients. I highly recommend Dr. Barrett G Shenoy
