One of the most compassionate, caring psychiatrists I have ever met. She is upfront, honest, blunt, and wonderful. She makes you work. Therapy, after all, is a two-way street.

I saw Dr. Seaman once, and will never return. She really did not appear to care about my reasons for seeking treatment, but wanted to get her clinical documentation in the first visit. She prescribed a medication that was $700 at CVS. I explained to Michelle, the nurse that that was too costly, but through Caremark it would be $105 for 3 MONTHS. I went back and forth and with Michelle with difficulty getting a call back. Her suggestion was another medication for $540 a month.

I have been a patient for over 6 years. Dr. Seaman's care was instrumental in my ongoing treatment for alcohol abuse and depression. I have been to a number of other psychiatrists and never felt better cared for and understood. My other doctors recognize Dr. Seaman as probably one of, if not the best medications management physician in Oklahoma City. Hopefully, Dr. Seaman will outlive me so I do not have to change doctors again.

He has always been somewhat condescending and belittling of any thought I have that differs from his. He has a tendency to go off on tangents complaining about this or that......nothing to do with me. Most importantly, a recent incident now has me questioning his pharmacology knowledge and competency. I'm done.

I have been seeing Dr Seaman since my divorce. He helped me through the most difficult, depressive period of my life (so far). His demeanor, willingness to explain issues, and compassionate care is unsurpassed in my 7 years with him. I will continue to see him on a regular basis because without his help, I don't know where I'd be now.

I've seen Dr. Seaman regularly for several years. He is extremely knowledgeable about psychiatry and medications. He might not have the typical Okie-friendly demeanor, but he's a great doctor. However, his office staff is awful. There is one woman who is really good, but the rest of them make mistakes with appointments, insurance, and payments, and they don't manage the phones properly. It's worth dealing with them to see Dr Seaman, though!

Condescending, rude, inappropriate, judging. Talks over patient. Talks bad about other doctors. If you are nervous or anxious he may make you take a drug test for hard stuff. will not continue to see him. Second visit was horrible. He doesn't have empathy. Won't shake hands. Refuses you to your face. We did that last time. Let's not spread the germs he said. I wouldn't send my enemy to him. It's hard to find a good dr. :( most staff nice. Only one female was really rude via phone.
