I don't want to give this Dr, a star. She doesn't pay attention to what she's doing. She runs her mouth and says nothing! I was there In May 2021 for an injection. She broke a syringe in my back with Lidocaine going all over my back. I had a bruise on my back big as a baseball ! I cancelled my other appointment with her. The only reason I had too see her was the best Pain management Dr. Emerge has is Dr. Francis Pecoraro! He has been taking care of me over ten years. The first time with Anderson, not a second time. All she could talk about was stimulators. I have learned since they are good for leg radiating pain. Not nerve damage in the back or arthritis from a fracture! Emerge needs to take a close look at rambling mouth! If you go there beware!

I’ve been with Dr. Anderson for over a year now. In this time we have gained a level of trust with one another so much so that I don’t question her judgment when it comes to my pain management. My level of trust with Dr Anderson is to a point to where I am allowing her to try a new procedure that can help Veterans like myself with PTSD. I’m extremely happy with the fact that she goes beyond just my pain management and looks for ways to improve my all around quality of life! My family and I are extremely blessed to have Dr Anderson helping us.

Dr. Anderson is the most combative and detached doctor I have ever encountered. She does not listen and recites "facts" from her notes that are not consistent with past experience with her. She is a self-ordained preacher and talks down to her patients according to lots of folks including me. I encouraged all to read her one-star reviews and expect to experience accordingly.

If I could give “Zero” stars, I would. Dr Ruth Anderson is arrogant, RUDE and unprofessional. Yesterday (10/4/19) was my appointment, As soon as she walked in, twice she said “I don’t prescribe Narcotics” ummm, ok, I wasn’t there to get Narcotics, I was there to see about “injections” into my spine that was a referral from my primary care doctor, was it because I have tattoos all over that she was being judgmental? My spine is full of arthritis and my hip has been hurting, when asked if my hip could be caused by my spine, she said it’s “arthritis, that’s life”. WOW, how professional. I got my report from her this morning and “SHE LIED” in her report, she said she went over in full detail about my previous MRI, she said, I need to get your MRI report, and then said “Oh, here it is, picked it up and put it back down. “NOTHING” was discussed about it, but in her report she said it was talked about in detail. “SHE LIED”. I don’t trust her, and they need to drug test her. AVOID!

I saw Dr. Anderson during 2015. I had beaten my 2nd occurrence of cancer (cervical). Just gotten finished with concurrent chemo with internal/external pelvic radiation. Facts: Dr. Anderson has a medical degree. We do not. This takes, not only a 4 yr bachelors plus another 4 yrs in med school, but also another 3-5 yrs residency training. ON TOP of that, add another 2-3 yrs for specialty training (Pain mgmt in her case.). On behalf of many doctors, if you are in pain they will help you. If you need it. Dr. Anderson was never rude to me, she was realistic and to the point. I have had rude doctors, but in the end, they knew what they were doing. Helping me was the goal, not to be nice. To save my life. To save your life. I'll take intelligence over personality any day. Please don't pay attention to 'some' trash reviews left by persons that didn't get prescribed what they wanted yet didn't need. Some do need, but many could benefit from alternatives if they would just try it.

I love Dr. Anderson. She is spot on with her diagnosis and treatment. If you want pills without being proactive in your own health, forget it. She is a PARTNER with you. If your pain is due to obesity then she wants you to move and lose weight FOR YOUR SAKE. Pills are a bandaid and she wants to help your feel and live healthier. If you want babying, then you might not like her bedside manner, but my feeling is grow up and suck it up. She’s a doctor and not a babysitter or your mommy.

Is this a typo or is she a RN? Why is she referred to as Doctor, which is written by her name here? If she's a PhD, does anyone know what kind? Was referred her as Dr. Anderson, PMP = Physician.

To say she has a bad bedside manner is understatement. Very rude. During my procedure she hurt me so bad I screamed. Told me to stop that. Other people would hear and think I’m hurting you. She was. Then when I breathing hard to get through the pain she told me to stop that too. With an attitude said I would pass out then she would have to call an ambulance. Was in more pain when I left then before I walked in.

When I first met her after being refered by her colleagues. ...I WAS FLOORED! First thing she did was say..."I saw your age and said...oh great gonna have to have the talk." She implies that my pain isn't real though MRI shows otherwise. She downplays pain, dismisses any answers you give her and always says..go to the gym...do squats.....do yoga.I'm a bit confused as to why she assumes I don't. No need clarifying because she doesn't listen. Wants to give injections..if you don't agree You're SOL

Her bedside manner is horrible, she is not easy to talk to, incredibly defensive if you question any of her treatment plan at all and unfortunately I just felt treated as if I were uneducated and unimportant. I was told that unless I wanted injections there was NOTHING else she could do for my pain other than give a PT referral or acupuncture/ chiropractor. I’m at a loss. I came for help and I have gotten none. I did agree to hip injections but they caused more pain so I refused any more.

Extremely rude!! I had questions about my husband’s condition, and she turned her back on me and started working on the computer while I was talking to her! She became defensive and did not listen to what I was asking, leaving me with unanswered questions. She absolutely does not belong in a profession that requires working with patients and their families.

As an RN with years of experience, I was shocked when ANOTHER local pain clinic kept raising my narcotic dose, without finding the cause of my pain. Thank you, Dr. Anderson, for helping me to reduce my pain meds. I really do believe you care. Though I'm not able to wean completely off yet, I have faith that you will help me do just that. You are professional, on time, you CARE about your patients and you have an awesome staff. I respect & admire you. Thank you.
