Had breast surgery on 1/2019 and was suppose to have breast lift with lateral excision to remove excess skin from previous large implants but when i woke up only half the procedure was done . He told my husband and myself he could not complete relating to the way I was positioned on the table and that it could be done at a later time . When I went back to discuss he was very dismissive and condescending. He stated we need to have a come to Jesus meeting and that no matter what he did I would not be happy . I told him i just wanted the procedure done that was discussed at my pre op appointment and since he would not do it I asked for my money back for services not rendered . He refused . I have been through every channel to get my money back even a letter to his office manager and a complaint to the clinic he works for with no response only a letter from his malpractice insurance company . Please think twice about having surgery with this doctor for this procedure. You have no recourse

I felt fine about Dr Stokes and he came recommended. That was until I saw my breast implant results. My implants are far too low and super lumpy. When I went to my 3-month post-op to discuss my concerns, he was dismissive and defensive. He would barely listen to my concerns let alone acknowledge what are obvious issues. He attempted to lecture me and tell me how wrong my concerns were. I am now forced to find another surgeon to do a revision surgery. This has been a huge source of stress in my life and I’m just so disappointed.

I have been so pleased with my experience with Dr. Stokes and his entire staff. Through every step of my breast reduction journey: from initial consultation to actual surgery and now through recovery, they have truly cared for me as a patient and person. Dr. Stokes is such a kind and caring surgeon, and I felt so calm and at ease when the day of surgery finally arrived. My aftercare has exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend Dr. Stokes!!

Dr. spent little time (15 mins) before operation explaining what would be done and outcome. Sent prescription the night before which I wasn't told about and didn't know when to take. Had a complete meltdown in pre op room complaining to my Husband and myself that he did not get enough money to do these operations and did not want to perform them. His attitude was infantile and rude. At stitch removal he peered at them and promptly left. Of course, 3 stitches were left in that I had to take out!

Excellent results with Dr. Stokes! He performed a full abdominoplasty and he and his staff were professional, knowledgeable, and kept me at ease from consultation to post surgery. Dr. Stokes took the time to explain the entire surgery and what to expect afterwards. I would recommend him to anyone looking to reconstruct their abdomen!

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Stokes, as well as all of the medical staff here at Pinehurst Surgical. Walking into the office I felt comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Stokes answered all of my questions as well as gave me important information regarding my surgery. He also came up with a surgical plan that fit my specific need as this was my second breast augmentation. Dr. Stokes exceeded my highest expectations, I refer anyone I know to him who is looking for this surgery.
