Dr Skinner was thorough with me and he took his time to explain things to me. He's not one of these doctors that just tries to hurry up and rush you out.

What the point of opening a practice facility if you don’t ever answer the phone? I’ve called a hand full of time to refill a prescription, schedule an appointment or to inquire about a symptom. Hands down the worst experience I’ve had. At this rate his office managers will ruin his reputation.

There aren’t words to adequately describe how grateful I am to have found Dr Skinner, much less to begin to describe how incredible of a doctor and medical professional he is. I read through other comments and I think a lot of people mistakenly blame our doctors who are just as subject to the absurdity of our flawed US healthcare and insurance systems as we patients are. What I can tell you is Dr Skinner and his staff CARE, and put in the time and effort to help you navigate all the hoop jumping required that seems to increase from insurers at every turn. Most importantly he listens and values you as a person which empowers a sense of ownership and control as a valued part of a team in your own health and healthcare. There is a sacred trust and mutual respect fostered and I wouldn’t trade it for alk the riches in the world. Thank you Dr Skinner.

This is the most disorganized office and it has been a very frustrating experience dealing with them. I felt that the doctor really did not care about my case. It took them SIX MONTHS to get back with me. Still no diagnosis. And when I switched doctors, they gave me the wrong records to give to my new doctor. If you have a common cold, there are some nice people in the office to help you. But if you want a doctor to be concerned and put the pieces together to diagnose a deeper problem, I would not step foot in this office.

I would never use this doctor again, nor recommend him. The "wellness exam" I received was cursory at best, and performed by a physician's assistant in less than five minutes. I was charged for my blood work and a mandatory "follow up" exam to my wellness exam, all of which should have been covered by my insurance. Had to fight with his office staff for a refund of charges in excess of my deductible. Overall, my experience was appalling.

Went in for a routine annual physical, ended up with a bill of $1,354. I called my insurance and was told that 1) the lab was out of network (all the blood test was done at Dr. Skinner office) and 2) the tests were not consistent with an annual check-up. I called Dr. Skinner and was told by his office manager that they had stopped using the lab and asked me to ignore the bills due to some kind of agreement between his office and the lab. The refused to provide any help or talked to my insurance.

We found Dr. Skinner because my husband is self employed. Our insurance is HMO. There were very few doctors would take a blue cross HMO. Dr. Skinner not only saw both my 19 year old son and myself he has genuine concern. He is an amazing doctor ,man and family man. His office staff is caring and understanding. They listen and genuinely care. Dr. Skinner and his staff back to caring and taking care of patients without being a number or a greedy insurance claim. So glad we found Dr. Skinner !!
