After 6 weeks of no improvement, took her to family ortho just for recommendations on PT (still assuming Calvo's initial diagnosis was correct). Immediately after inspecting injury, Doc asked if weight-bearing xray had been done (only way to definitively rule out Lisfranc fracture). Within minutes, the long-delayed xray was completed, and we saw the clear Lisfranc fracture in our daughter's foot; scheduled surgery. Calvo prob. fine surgeon; but he was definitely lazy on our daughter's diagnosis.

I had an appointment with Dr. Calvo today, paperwork in hand and ready to go; sadly the office wasn’t. I was met by the most inept human I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She told me that the paperwork was wrong, that Dr. Calvo was now part of All Star Orthopedics no longer with Travis Orthopedics and Spine. Bottom line, 45 mins later I had to walk out, the front office is inept and needs to be fired - that simple. Your staff is your face - they are the 1st impression; no trust.

Dr. Calvo repaired my severely broken/displaced collar bone three days ago. This was three days after my first visit to his office and 11 days after my cycling accident. Can't believe the relief I felt within 24 hours of surgery during which he inserted a Sonoma CRx collarbone rod. This is a new and improved method vs. plating the collarbone. He hollowed out the inside of the two pieces of collarbone, inserted the rod, and instantly my collarbone is no longer broken. Will be cycling in 6 weeks!

Dr. Calvo did surgery on my wrist a week and a half ago and it's healing up great! I'm glad I chose him to do my surgery. He is very informative and is quick to find what is causing issues. I would recommend him to my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Calvo!

I had an accident and Lakeway Regional ER sent to Dr Calvo. After waiting an hour he didn't look at my injured area just pushed on it once and said your be fine, sent me home with a perscription. I made him and the office well aware I was allergic to Hydrocodone/Vicodin & after hours pain I was looking forward to some relief. Low and behold he prescribed Narco (Hydrocodone) I got a second opinion and found out I have to have surgery to reconnect my tendon/hamstring.Thank God I found a good dr.

Once it was determined by an MRI that I needed surgery for tennis elbow, Dr. Calvo's office scheduled me for surgery. From start to finish, the process was efficient and very satisfactory. Dr. Calvo performed the surgery without complications with the help of an experienced staff of at least 4 others on his surgical team. Recovery time was better than expected! Lakeway is lucky to have Dr. Calvo who has had great success working in his field of expertise.

Dr. Calvo is the doctor I go to for all my family's care when is comes to orthopedics. He did a meniscus repair on my knee 20 years ago and I have not had any problems with it since. He treated my oldest son's sprained ankle and my daughter's broken wrist. He also is now who I am having evaluate and then treat my teenage daughter's foot and leg that was recently run over by a car. I feel confident with Dr. Calvo's knowledge, experience, and exceptional care, the best results will be achieved.

Had miniscus surgery. Said he had a hard day the day before, and that he had a difficult surgery coming after mine. Had me scared before getting started. Ended up with out of network providers who charged me thousands.Knee is more painful now than before. Very difficult to contact and don't call you back for two days or more regardless of the pain you are in. In some cases no call back at all. Called twice to get name of orthotics provider but was completely ignored, and still no call back.
