This office is phenomenal .. Dr Bartels is so thorough and Proffesional. I have tried several drs and offices that specialize in hormone therapy and the consistency in care and professionalism here are by far the best I’ve experienced. I actually moved to utah and fly back here to continue my care in Az because I feel So much confidence with this practice.

Dealing with the billing department is a nightmare! My daughter's insurance refused to cover part of the tests done because their coding did not match the diagnosis. The doctor's office would not correct the coding, which left my daughter responsible for the charge of "experimental" lab work. The insurance even called them to get medical records to see if they could cover the lab work, and this facility would not cooperate!

Please beware of tests run by this doctor's office; ask upfront what tests are being run, and why. It has been an absolute nightmare working with the billing department of Dr. Bartel's facility. My daughter made an appt. because she was feeling fatigued. She ended up paying for a $65 blood test, a copay, and at least $80 worth of supplements. Over $500 of lab work was done at his office. Insurance denied part of the bill because it was deemed "experimental"!?

The WORST experience of my life happened when I went to Bartels office. I was given a total 3 bhrt pellets over 7 months. After the 2nd everything went down hill. I reported all my symptoms to his nurse Mazzacano which was my hair falling out, irritability, anxiety, libido threw the roof, and I was on an emotional roller coaster. In which case, she ignored all these issues said I was given too much and suggested to do half to balance it out. I LOST ALL MY HAIR! Not enough space to explain.BEWARE
