Nineteen years ago today, March 17, 2000, Dr. Lackner performed my lung surgery. I had a small nodule which was malignant and he removed my right upper lobe. Margins were clear so I did not need chemo or radiation. He is a talented surgeon who saved my life. My family remembers his caring manners. We will always be thankful that he was my surgeon.

Dr. Lackner is an extrordinary surgeon. He is always there to answer and explain any questions you might have. He genuinely shows interest and concern in getting you back to your life. I was told I would have a tracheotomy permanently and was unable to even speak. I went to him for a second opinion. Two month's later the trach was removed and I was able to talk to my baby girl for the first time in 5 months.100 percent trust this man with my life. If you are looking for a great surgeon he is it.
