Outstanding Doctor
I am a genetic walking magnet for all respiratory illness. Although I was an athlete in my youth and a healthy eater, today at age 67 I have COPD, asthma, chronic bronchitis and mild sleep apnea. Dr. Haidar is the fourth pulmonologist I have had and the first woman. She is the first pulmonologist who put a NUMBER PERCENTAGE on my lung function. Dr. Haidar is the first doctor who monitors me 24/7 for my oxygen level and heart rate through ACCUHEALTH. She is so conscientious and knowledgeable about current medications. She changed my life. Today for the first time I have a grip on the severity of my COPD. She is easy to talk to and I love the way I have full time access to her through my patient portal. My last doctor said, "I'll see you in six months." I can talk to Dr. Haidar every day. Her office manager, Jimmy is The Best. I love this doctor and could not recommend her more highly. I love how quiet and peaceful her office is although she has a demanding career.

Visit well. I had my vital signs checked and then an interview with Dr Haidar. I was told my treatment for Apnea was going very well. My CPAP readings showed no stoppages and that I averaged 6 hours a night.

The right stuff
Dr. Hadar is wonderful. She listens and doesn't force you to do what she wants. She works with each patient to determine what is right for them. She is the only pulmonologist who was able to get me to use CPAP based on my needs which makes me less claustrophobic. I will not see another Pulmonologist

Dr. Haidar and her staff are all excellent providers. They are very caring and thorough. Dr. Haidar's Sleep Center staff are also excellent. My sleep apnea is completely controlled as a result of the sleep studies and bipap machine prescribed by Dr. Haidar. I get restful sleep without any medications for the first time in many years and I am fully awake during the daytime - something that did not happen before I came to Buxmont Pulmonary and Sleep Center and Dr. Haidar. I also have a family member who is a patient of Dr. Haidar's and who has had the same very positive experience and result. I recommend Dr. Haidar to anyone with a sleep disorder.

I met Dr Haidar when I was being treated for pneumonia at Lansdale Abington Hospital in 2017. The care I received then and the continued care I receive now is excellent. Dr. Haidar is thorough in determining an accurate diagnosis and treating it. She is caring, compassionate and listens to my concerns. Dr. Haidar insures that all other medical conditions and current medications are considered during office visits and when treatment is needed. I highly recommend Dr. Haidar for excellent pulmonary care.

Dr. Haidar has treated me a number of years for my sleep apnea and asthma. I have always felt that I have received excellent care, that is compassionate and thorough. When I became seriously ill in December 2020 I called Dr. Haidar for treatment. She knew exactly what to do, and wasted no time in putting a treatment plan in place. My recovery took several months, but now I'm back to work doing patient care. I can't thank Dr. Haidar enough for her knowledge and compassion.

Dr. Haidar takes the time and effort to know her patients, always demonstrates genuine concern, and is thorough in her follow through. Recently, she found a spot that had been undetected by x-ray that could have been life threatening. She put me in touch with an extremely talented and well-known department head at Temple who removed part of my lung--home in one day! She also helped me immensely with sleep---I went from 2 to 3 hours sleep to 7. I have COPD from smoking and have maintained almost exact test scores for 8 years. I could not be happier with my experiences with her.

Every time I visit, there are LONG wait times. Asked the technician or nurse (you only see Dr. Haidar on the first visit) a technical question and answer was basically "because that is how we do it around here" without any explanation. After the appointments (which are needed for insurance), I see my bill (high deductible) and ponder why I paid all that for "your CPAP therapy is going great, keep it up".

Wonderful facility. Dr. Haidar is very personable and takes the time to really understand you as a patient. She is very thorough and the testing at the facility is very thorough as well. Initially diagnosed with sleep apea in California over six year ago. This clinic is head and shoulders above the clinic I used out west. Equipment appears to be very up to date.

This doctor is only interested in what can generate the most income for herself. If you go, be prepared to wait for hours. While waiting, they will try to make the time go by and will have you undergo every test whether you need it or not. Every patient gets a "6-minute walk" no matter if they need it or not. If you are on oxygen, you will undergo the 6-minute walk test every visit, even though the insurance company and home-care supplier do not require this but once a year.

Dr. Haidar treated me while I was in the hospital. She was very informative and easy to understand. My biggest challenges were with her office & billing service. Trying to setup an appointment was HORRIBLE. Never could get to a live person and I left several messages that were never returned. I finally got fed up and LEFT ANOTHER MESSAGE saying that I would NEVER use attempt to use their service again. Guess what, I did not get a call back on that message either. Good Dr that uses bad services
