Thyroid Problem
I had a thyroid problem that I was seeing doctor Germani for. He was always nice, ask how was I and was very attentive to my needs and high was a serious huge cyst like growth on my thyroid he dad to remove. A very difficult surgery. He was very skillful in removing the very large thyroid growth thus saving my life.

I Agree with the Other Negative Reviews
As many others said here, this man is arrogant and condescending. He didn’t explain my surgery AT ALL and then when I ask questions he later called me a “skeptical patient” I have a right to understand what’s happening to my body and I’m not “skeptical” for merely asking basic questions. He misdiagnosed me because he didn’t do any testing. He felt an existing lump for a moment, said it was a benign cyst and that I needed surgery. It turned out to be a tumor and said the procedure could’ve paralyzed half my face. THIS IS WHY YOU ASK QUESTIONS. My surgery had complications that he dismissed and tried to joke about in a follow up appointment. There’s a reason he is one of the lowest reviewed ENTs in the area and I deeply wish I had known this before being his patient.

Impressed and happy
I have been dealing with nasal polyps for over 20 years and have had 3 surgeries to remove them. Dr Germani was recommended by my GP because he is considered an expert in nasal polyps. He was not wrong. I was going to need one more surgery, then all future polyps would be taken care of in the office! The care I received from Dr Germani and his staff was and is top notch. He explained everything thoroughly before and after surgery. He even opened and cleaned a section of my sinus that previous doctors did not, relieving more of the sinus pressure. I believe everyone should take an active part in their health. I am glad Dr Germani, his staff are on my team.

Dictatorial approach
I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. I agree that Germani is arrogant and condescending. He enjoys using the most technical terms possible to explain conditions and test results, and fails to give clear explanations. I told him at the outset that I was not interested in allergy treatment, yet he insisted on having me get allergy tests. Then he lamented that I would not accept treatment. I do not need to apologize for insisting on how I want to be treated. I need a doctor who is collaborative. He referred to me as opinionated--which is true--and I definitely should be about my own body and medical care. He does not listen. He also prescribed medication that I mentioned I did not want and had used in the past. I will not be returning and I do not recommend him.

Dr. Germani was personable, knowledgeable and above all professional. After a preliminary examination he concisely explained what was going on with my sinuses. He showed me the internal structures and how mine deviated from the norm causing at least part of my problems. He did not try to guess at what might be causing problems in areas he could not access but did tell me what needed to be done next. I am very pleased that I was treated by Dr. Germani and I am confident that he will be able to permanently alleviate my symptoms.

He was extremely arrogant and rude. Due the fact I was non surgical, he treated me like a waste of time. He advised me to visit an allergist after being referred to him. Since he couldn’t bill for a surgery, he decided he’d shine a light up my nose just to perform a procedure, and then bill me $500 for it. That was AFTER he told me to see an allergist. I was in the office a total of ten minutes. The office is very dirty and the entire staff was rude.

I've Dr Germani to be very friendly, informative about what his plan for your condition is and what he expects out of you the patient. Wait times are usually short and his office and nursing staff were always nice and helpful. If I called in with a question they were helpful in getting a quick helpful response. Just so you know the background. Dr ross performed nose surgery on me years ago. It has literally changed my life. I wouldn't see another Dr unless didn't have him as a choice. Thanks

He has always been friendly and considerate. He performed a s surgery on my sinus and nose and ran into difficulty. He contacted my husband in the waiting area to consult with him as to whether to proceed or stop. He continued on with the surgery with my husband s approval and again encountered another issue to which he took care of wonderfully. I have had multiple follow ups and have also had my grandson there whom he did a tonsillectomy on and adenoids scar tissue removed. he is a good man
