Dr. Wheeler is an amazing physician. She is thorough and knowledgeable, but most importantly she has a wonderful bedside manner. She is caring and honest and makes me feel welcome. As a patient with medical related trauma, I frequently have anxiety related to doctor appointments. Dr. Wheeler and her NP have gone above and beyond to make me feel more comfortable there. I know she truly cares about me. Dr. Wheeler welcomes my feedback and treats me as an equal partner in my health care plan. She is one of the very few medical professionals that I feel comfortable with, and I recommend her without hesitation.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Augustine-Wheeler for several years. She is friendly and truly concerned for our health. She is thorough and willing to spend the time needed with us. We never feel like we are “just another patient.” Thank you Dr. Wheeler!

This is a wonderful physician all around. She takes the time to listen to your ailments and address your medical needs to care for you not just as a patient but as a personal human being. She is extremely professional, proficient, caring, warm and very friendly as a physician and a person. Excellent patient bed side manner. She is very interactive with your care plan and makes sure that you are as involved as possible and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything in detail. She is by far one of the best physicians that I have ever had or come across and I have come across many physicians in the last decade since becoming a nurse. As a healthcare provider I can honestly say that she is on top of her game as a physician and as a patient advocate!!! I am extremely pleased with her as my PCP.

My experience so far has been very little with Dr. Wheeler. I find that she is difficult to contact - I understand "Telehealth Visits", but when I am able to make an office appointment with a specialist (because I cannot see my primary) then I am confused as to why? Your heart cannot be checked - your pulse cannot be checked - you have to take your own temperature, weight, etc. Telehealth Visits provide limited care in my opinion.

Both my wife and I are both very pleased to have Dr. Wheeler as our primary care physician. We moved to Texas recently and were lucky to have found a wonderful and caring physician who is very thorough in dealing with our medical issues.
