When I walked out, I was completely happy with what we had accomplished in our first appointment. She listened and it was comfortable talking to her. It was obvious that she knew her field. Would recommend to everyone!

Conditions Treated

Dr. George says..

I enjoy taking the time it takes to hear your concerns, history, and current complaints to try to find the best solutions with you.  Patients have commented that I take time to be thorough and that is important to me. I enjoy doing therapy, CBT, psychodynamic, DBT, story writing, OCD exposure therapy, anxiety exposure therapy, and counseling parents and occasionally doing some couples therapy in a way that helps both partners feel listened to and understood.  Being up to date by reading professional journals and attending continuing medical education conferences that truly add to my clinical skills is an important quality to my practice of medicine.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
